She is a 2000 graduate of Lake Mills Community School and a 2004 graduate of Allen College in Waterloo, with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed by Mayo Clinic in Rochester. ANDREW YOCOM, of St. Paul, is the son of John and Paula Yocom, of Emmons, Minn. He is a 2000 graduate of Glenville-Emmons High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, with a bachelor of science degree in agriculture business. He is employed by Progressive Insurance in St. Paul, Minn. The couple will be married on Sept. 18, 2010 at Salem Lutheran Church in Lake Mills.

IOWA CITY — The University of Iowa Honors Program presented 70 University of Iowa students with almost $75,000 in scholarships during its annual recognition ceremony this past spring, to celebrate students’ academic, extracurricular and research accomplishments. Rajiv Verma, a senior, received the Collegiate Rhodes Dunlap Award. Verma is an integrative physiology major who volunteers with University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Child Psychiatary Unit, tutors and is vice president of the Indian Student Alliance. He is the son of Rajinder and Asha Verma, and is a 2007 graduate of Mason City High School.
