2012-2013 Mitchell County 4-H Leadership League
Mitchell County 4-H Leadership League recognized The 2012-2013 Mitchell County 4-H Leadership League was recognized on Friday, August 3rd, at the Mitchell County Fair. The purpose of the group is to meet throughout the year to plan intermediate 4-H activities for members in seventh and eighth grade and work on leadership skills, along with having fun.
Returning Members of the Leadership League include Lindsey DeBower, Carpenter; Lindsay Hemann, Adam Koch, Alexa Maakestad, Alexis Meek, Lauren Nasstrom, Julia Ringhofer, Tyra Sullivan, Emmi Taets, Osage; Aaron Gerdts, Caitlyn Juhl, St. Ansgar; New members of the 4-H Leadership League that
were inducted on Friday were Dylan Aschenbrenner, Mady Dohlman, Kelsey Havel, Caitlin Jensen, Tyler Jensen, Garrett Maakestad, Anna Miller, Brooke Scharper, Hunter Wagner, Osage; Nicholas Bork, St. Ansgar.
4-H County Council Installation held during fair On Friday, August 3rd, the 4-H Mitchell County Council held their 2012-2013 member installation ceremony in the 4-H Exhibit Building. The mission of 4-H is to help youth become contributing members of society. The 4-H County Council is looked at for leadership - setting an example for others. 4-H County Council members are expected to be a living example of 4-H standards for other members and friends of 4-H. As representatives of 4-H, their task is “to make the best better”. The following returning members were installed to the 4-H County Council for the upcoming year: Ben Weis, McIntire; Drew Bellairs, Sam Bellairs, Izak Christensen, Taylor Dohlman, Jenna Hanson, Tyler Havel, Megan Huftalin, Jesse Klaes, Laura Klaes, Darin Koch, Lucas Maakestad, Kara Miller, Madeline Miller, Becca Mullenbach, Katie Plotzke, Thomas Randall, Tyler Randall, Anna Riley, Cole Riley, Casey Ringhofer, Amber Schwarting, Rebekah Sletten, Emily Sullivan, Haley Wagner, Sydney Williams, Osage; Hannah Cross, Brandon Klaes, Ashley Uthe, Taylor Uthe, Riceville; Ralee Kruse, Roni Kruse, Rudd; Casey Zuehl, St. Ansgar; Olivia Bisbee, Samantha Hemann, Leigh Marzen, Stacyville;

A farewell to the members of the 2011-2012 County Council who graduated this spring was held also. For the
