Karie is the daughter of Dave and Carolyn Just of Swaledale. Karie is the granddaughter of Marilyn Just of Swaledale.

Blake’s parents are Pam Close of Columbia, Mo., and Chuck and Tina Arney of Lee’s Summit, Mo. Blake’s grandparents are George and Mary Lou Close of Des Moines, Jill and Ercell Arney of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Velma Young.

Matron of honor was Suzanne Schuknecht, sister of the bride. Karie’s other attendants were Kay McGee, Erin Moran, and Jenny Grabner. Best man was Jason Mason, cousin of the groom. Blake’s other attendants were Anson Bonte, Aaron Doubet, and Kris Erikson.

MASON CITY — Sarah Stalker and Alex Mariner were united in marriage on Aug. 11, 2012, at First United Methodist Church in Mason City by Pastor Linda Johnson-Prestholt and Pastor Sean McRoberts.

Sarah is the daughter of Tom Stalker and Lori Pals of Mason City. Sarah’s grandparents are Roger and Connie Levy of Mason City and Nate and Marlys Pals of Meservey.

Alex’s parents are Rod and Jodi Mariner of Mason City. Alex’s grandparents are Gary and Karen Bernhardt of Plymouth, Iowa.

Maid of honor was Cecily McWilliams, friend of the bride. Sarah’s other attendants were Jessica Mariner, Bobbi Stalker, Erika Mariner, Emily Wiltsie and Maddie Miller.

Best man was Lucas Mariner, brother of the groom. Alex’s other attendants were Bo Wiebrand, T.J. Stalker, Brandon Tyler, A.J. Hrubetz and Mike Schiffer.

The flower girl was Jordan Latham. The ring

bearers were Cade, Bo, and Jake Pals. Ushers were Jareese Williams and Jareese Williams Jr. Soloist was Emily Goetz. The candlelighters were Karen and Olivia Marson. The bride’s personal attendant was Erica Svuba.

A reception was held at The Music Man Square, hosted by Ryan and Wendy Pals and Bob and Olivia Stalker.

Sarah is employed by Mercy Medical CenterNorth Iowa of Mason City.

Alex is employed by Hall Industries of Sheffield.

The couple will reside in Mason City.
