Have you ever thought that on eaoh one of us, from Chief scout to Cub scout, may rest the good name and reputation of scouting? ,饣 Not long ago I heard of a man who stated that in his opinion
modern scouting is not as good as it was when he was a boy。 VVhen asked why he thought this,he rephed that a patrol of scouts had recendy camped on his land and had gone away leaving a very untidy site behind them。
Th诒 man had judged the whole∶ scout ]Movement on one incident involving the bad behaviour of six boys which,though not really fair and just, is what’ many people would do。

Th、 , or some other kind of bad behaviour, might happen anywhere in the world w⒒ ha ⒍milar result so we must do our best al、 〃 ays to behave in a manner which wⅡ l bring cred’ t to the Movement to which we are a1l so proud to belong。
