It Was
The Fourth Colony Scouterζ Conference and the Ninth Co1ony Rover Moot was he1d as a joint gathering recendy in the New Territories at a ti1ne when nearly a11the roads were b1ockod and the train services were very uncertain because of the heavy rain。
Yet 130 scouters and Rovers turned
up, and we had an enthusiastic and happy exchange of ideas on many things concerning the sc。 ut l/Iovenlent。
I mention these three events because they are proof to me of a lively scout spirit in Hong Kong。
When work is to be done scouts are wi11ing, when the occasion demands it scouts are reverent・ serious, and when、 difficu1ties arise Scouts are cheerful and enthusiastic,
