One-to-One Secure Electronic Storage

The Client B. Reed Henderson High School began allowing their students to bring their personal electonics to school to enhance their learning experience. These electronics ranged from laptops and tablets to mp3 players and more. But not all classrooms allowed the electronics to be used. With the new policy in place, the school was concerned about the students not having a secure place to store their electronics when they weren’t allowed to have them with them.

Storage Solution The solution was a bank of TekStaks™ located in the library, an easy place for students to visit on their way to class. Each bay of the TekStak™ system had it’s own power outlet, allowing students to charge their electronics while they stored them. Each door was equipped with a reprogrammable electronic lock that allowed the students to set the lock with their own code without the need for assistance from library staff. The school chose to paint the units a color that would coordinate with their library decor, and they were pleased with the outcome of the system and the security it provided for their students.
