Enamelist is a collection of over
100 metalworks, mainly jewelry and holloware, created by Ann Orr, recognized American artist and jeweler. The exhibition represents an
assortment of metal pieces from various private collections, many
of
which will be displayed for the first time. Ann Orr studied in Athens, Ceorgia, and apprenticed in New York under Adda Husted-Andersen, an internationally known Danish silversmith and enamelist. The exhibition will be an opportunity to view many of Ann Orr s most exquisitely designed silver and gold pieces. This exhibition is sponsored
in part through the generosity of the Ann Orr Exhibition Committee as well as lenders to the exhibition.

represents a colorful and diverse
collection of approximately 70 items ranging from weather vanes, decoys, and carousel animals
to handmade textiles, quilts, and cross
stitch samplers. The works are on loan from Gerald T. Horton, a longtime patron of the perForming arts and collector of folk an. The
folk pieces, dating from the late 1 Sth century to the mid-20th century, reveal the strength
ofthe traditional American crafts movement.
