The International Brangus Breeders Foundation wishes to thank Don Cox and the Genetic Edge consignors for allowing us to participate in this grand event. The Genetic Edge Sale has become a truly premier event and an opportunity to acquire elite Red and Black genetics from some of the top Brangus breeders in the world. Because we can join with the Genetic Edge for this fundraiser, virtually all of the proceeds received from the sale of donated embryos flow straight to the bottom line of the Foundation. This gives the Foundation more resources to support its programs and projects.

The donors for this event dug deep into their genetic treasure troves to offer up an incredibly powerful consignment of Brangus genetics. Without exception, these are embryos that would have otherwise been used in their breeding programs. Their generosity allows you to acquire genetics that might not have been offered for sale otherwise. When you see one of the donors, please shake their hand and thank them. Their generosity helps all of us.

The Foundation is on a mission to advance the Brangus breed. Research projects generate valuable data that we can use to increase

This incredible donor gained early acclaim when she had BWCC Merger 468F9, the top-ranked Monument son in the breed and also the sire of MC Santiago 541H30! 7521D is one of the best 3D daughters we have raised or seen. 7521D's dam was purchased from Cavenders as an open heifer because of her unique breeding and tremendous Angus pedigree on the dam's side. Breeding to 3D was an easy choice because of his ability to stabilize the Ultrablack pedigree. 7521D weaned her first calf, a Brickhouse son, at an adjusted 801 lbs. It was an easy decision to elevate her to the donor pen, and she has not disappointed. Six maternal brothers will sell at the GENEPLUS sale at Chimney Rock this spring. The sire of these embryos, SF Entourage 40G50, was the high-selling bull at the 2021 GENEPLUS at Suhn Cattle Company Sale. Entourage was the most complete son of Suhn’s Epic 331D16, but due to a mortal injury, semen quantity was very limited, making these embryos quite rare. Dr. Schmidt is donating these embryos because he strongly supports the research the Foundation is trying to accomplish, and the advancement he hopes it will accomplish for the Brangus Breed.
