Leadership Owensboro visits Frankfort The Leadership Owensboro class had a full day in Frankfort on Feb. 8. To kick things off, they joined Leadership Paducah and Leadership Murray for a luncheon where Secretary Gill served as the keynote speaker. The class had meetings to speak with our legislators, including Senator Bowen, Representatives Miles, Castlen, Johnson, Gooch and Mills about several topics.
The Chamber’s lobbyist, Russ Woodward of Capital Link, spoke with the class about likely outcomes of the sessions and legislation the class should expect to see passed. In addition, the class observed the House Budget Review Subcommittee on General Government chaired by Representative Miles. The class concluded their visit by attending West Kentucky Thank You Night.
