CHAMBER MATTERS 2018 OCT.

SAVE the DATES Red, White and Blue

Thursday, October 25 Candidate Forum for City and County Office

Tuesday, October 30

Teachers in the Workplace is a Chamber program designed to make educators aware of the processes and expectations in current worksites and to demonstrate the connections between concepts learned in the classroom and the applications of these in the workforce. Teachers in the Workplace provides teachers with exposure to the conditions and opportunities available in the workplace in the greater Owensboro region. The program allows educators the opportunity to go on-site to tour local facilities and to talk directly with employers about their operations and expectations. Participants in the program have already visited both Sun Windows, Inc. and Swedish Match North America Inc. this fall. Additional employer visits will be scheduled for the group in November.
