Chamber to host upcoming forums

Red, White and Blue, presented by Big Rivers Electric Corporation took place this past Thursday on the Daviess County Courthouse Lawn. Hundreds gathered to hear from candidates running for State and Local offices. Each candidate was allowed time to introduce themselves and briefly discuss their platform for the office they seek. Special thanks to the Fraternal Order of Police for providing free food to those in attendance. Election Day is next Tuesday, November 6. Encourage your neighbors, coworkers and friends to GO Vote!

Shop Owensboro is a program that was designed to elevate the highly known Small Business Saturday. Shop Owensboro, which falls on Small Business Saturday is a banner day for many local businesses as Owensboroans have adopted the mentality that shopping small is a big deal for our community. The 4th Annual Shop Owensboro, powered by Independence Bank will take place on Saturday, November 24th. The event kicks-off at the 2425 Frederica Street and 3228 Hwy 54 Independence Bank locations at 9:00 am. The first 600 shoppers to arrive will receive a free Shop Owensboro bag filled with discounts from over 50 local retailers! Play along throughout the day with your Shop Owensboro B-I-N-G-O card for your chance to win $25 gift certificates and giveaways from the participating businesses. This shopping event has grown to an all-day experience, bringing in visitors from all over the Tri-State area.
