Annual Farm City Breakfast scheduled for Feb. 22nd The 35th annual Farm City Breakfast is set for Saturday, February 22 at 7:30 a.m. at Apollo High School. The breakfast is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and the Daviess County Farm Bureau and sponsored by local farmers and businesses. Tickets are $6 each and can be purchased at the Chamber or Farm Bureau offices.

After 37 years, more than 440 speakers, and too many rings from the Good News Phone to count, Kirk Kirkpatrick will take the stage for the last time as the emcee of the Chamber’s Rooster Booster program. Don’t miss Kirk’s final Top Five presentation! It will also be the first Rooster Booster to be held at the Owensboro Convention Center. The 2014 Athena Awards set for February 26 at the Convention Center The 2014 Athena Awards, sponsored by Girls Incorporated and the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce will be held on Wednesday, February 26 at the Owensboro Convention Center. The event, at 11:30 am, will feature Kentucky First Lady Jane Beshear as the presenting speaker. Tickets for the event are $45 each in celebration of the 45th Anniversary of the Athena Awards.
