What is it like to leave university and get your first “real” job or start an actual business? How do you go about preparing for that dream job - is there even a dream job out there? Why is it so important to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset when curating your own career path? Hear directly from our student innovators who will share their own personal experiences, offer some radical and refreshing tips, and answer any and all of your questions.
Grab an ice-cream from our LSE Generate start-up Persian Kitchen (it’s our favourite gelateria in London!) and mingle with our Founders, asking them absolutely anything about their professional journeys. No wrong questions, apart from the ones you don’t ask!
CHOOSING THE RIGHT CAREER
This workshop helps us pinpoint what matters to us each of us in a “job”, helping us link up our talents and passions with our potential careers choices. Through a series of innovative activities and creative challenges we’ll get to know our values and ourselves better with the hope that we’ll find a job we love. Through self exploration, letter writing, dream job spec artwork, and some musical surprises we’ll emerge with a clear head and practical actions as to what our next (or even first!) professional steps might be.
