YOGA WITH THE LUMI FOUNDATION

Period 4 YEAR 10
Join us for a yoga class with Old Dolphin Kate Goodhart and practise the skills and techniques to focus on your inner wellbeing. The class will finish with a loving kindness meditation. This will send love, peace and joy to yourself, and then extend your heart to send those same thoughts to others in your life.
By the end of the class, you’ll have the tools needed to create compassion for yourself and others, to create connection with the community around you, and to embrace a better tomorrow.

Old Dolphin Dr Nirja Joshi, known as the ‘dancing doctor’, returns to provide a wellbeing workshop including a dance session and wellbeing talk for all students.

JIM SMITH: FROM FROGS TO HUMANS - JUST AS WE’D HOPED
Jim Smith is a developmental biologist who served as Director of the Medical Research Council (MRC) National Institute for Medical Research. He will be talking about how the analysis of frog embryos has helped researchers to engineer stem cells which can contribute to regenerative medicine.
