Daniel Chapter 2 (1611 King James Bible)

-LEGENDA-

DANIEL NEBUCHADNEZZAR

1 And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar (*592 BC), Nebuchad-nezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him. (*Secular source)

2 Then the King commanded to call the Magicians, and the Astrologers, and the Sorcerers, and the Caldeans, for to shew the King his dreams: so they came and stood before the king. 3 And the King said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know (UNDERSTAND) the dream. 4 Then spake the Caldeans to the King in Syriacke; O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation. 5 The King answered, and said to the Caldeans, The thing is gone from me:if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill. 6 But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards, and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof. 7 They answered again, and said, Let the King tell his servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it. 8 The King answered, and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me. 9 But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying, and corrupt words to speak before me,till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof. 10 ¶ The Caldeans answered before the King, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no King, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any Magician, or Astrologer, or Caldean. 11 And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the King, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh. 12 For this cause the King was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. 13 And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain, and they sought Daniel and his fellowes to be slain. 14 ¶ Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the King's guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon. 15 He answered and said to Arioch the King's captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the

King? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel. 16 Then Daniel went in and desired of the King, that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation. 17 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah his companions: 18 That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret, that Daniel and his fellowes should not perish with the rest of the Wise men of Babylon. 19 Âś Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision: then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. 20 Daniel answered and said; Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth Kings, and setteth up Kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding. 22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, & the light dwelleth with him. 23 I thank thee and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. 24 Âś Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon: he went and said thus unto him,Destroy not the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation. 25 Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, & said thus unto him,I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation. 26 The King answered and said to Daniel whose name ( TITLE ) was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof? 27 Daniel answered in the presence of the King, and said, The secret which the King hath demanded, cannot the wise men, the astrologians, the magicians, the soothsayers shew unto the king: 28 But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh knowen to the king Nebuchad-nezzar,what shall be in the latter days.Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these. 29 As for thee,O King, thy thoughts came into thy mind upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets, maketh known to thee, what shall come to pass. 30 But as for me,this secret is not revealed to me,for any wisdom that I have more then any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the King, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart. 31 Âś Thou,O King, sawest, and behold a great image: this great image whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee, and the form thereof was terrible.

32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass: 33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron, and part of clay. 34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. 35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the sum mer threshingfloors, and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: & the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. Nebuchanezzard dreamed that which comes to pass in the latter days. He sees the imagine untill a stone smote the image upon it's feet (IRON & CLAY) breaking it to pieces. The image dissapears and the stone that smote it transforms into a great mountain filling the entire earth.

This is the dream, and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the King.

36 Âś

37 Thou,O King, art a king of Kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. 38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field, and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all: thou art this head of gold. 39 And after thee shall arise an other kingdom inferiour to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. 40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things; and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. 41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters clay, and part of iron: the kingdom shall be divided, but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry (MUDDY) clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay; so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. 43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to an other, even as iron is not mixed with clay. 44 And in the days of these Kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the Kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces, and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. 45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold: the great God hath made known to the King what shall come to pass hereafter, & the dream is certain, and

the interpretation thereof sure. 46 ¶ Then the King Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and com manded that they should offer an oblation (OFFERING),and sweet odours unto him. 47 The King answered unto Daniel and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of Kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. 48 Then the King made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, & made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. 49 Then Daniel requested of the King, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego over the affaires of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the gate of the King.

-S. I:Conclusion-

King Nebuchanezzard is the head of Gold and ordained by God.

An inferiour silver empire & king will be ordained by God after Nebuchanezzard's Babylon.

The empire & king that is ordained next, will be of brass and will bear rule over all the earth.

The last kingdom before the establisment of the Kingdom of God will be strong as Iron.

The (4th) last kingdom will be strong as iron, in view of the fact that, when iron breaks it subdues all things. The last kingdom portrayed as being of iron, therefore it has the strenght to subdue all things. (Including the influence of all three previous ordained kingdoms) It's feet represent, the kingdom at the stage of it's devision into parts made out of potter's (BAKED) clay and iron. The iron devision will strengthen the clay devision of the last kingdom. At the stage of the image's ten toes, the potter's clay transforms into miry clay (WEAKENS) and it's rulers will mingle themselves with the seed of men. The last kingdom, at this stage, will not hold union as iron is not mixed with clay and in the days of these kings God will set up his everlasting kingdom.

Nebuchanezzard, the King of Babylon, dreamed that which comes to pass in the latter days. He sees the imagine untill a stone smote the image upon it's feet (IRON & CLAY) breaking it to pieces. The image dissapears and the stone that smote it transforms into a great mountain filling the entire earth.

DANIEL - JEWISH SAINTS IN CONTEXT OF DANIEL HIS TIME AND EYES

THE FIRST BEAST-THE SECOND BEAST-THE THIRD BEAST THE FOURTH BEAST- THE 11th HORN

1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon (*542 BC),Daniel had a dream, and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters. (*Christian source)

2 Daniel spake, and said, I saw in my vision by night,& behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great Sea. 3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. 4 The first was like a Lion, and had Eagles wings:I beheld till the wings thereof were pluckt, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man,and a mans heart was giuen to it. 5 And behold, another beast, a second, like to a Bear, and it raised up it self on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it,and they said thus unto it, Arise, devoure much flesh. 6 After this I beheld, and lo(OK),another like a Leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl, the beast had also four heads, and dominion was given to it. 7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadfull and terrible, and strong exceedingly;and it had great iron teeth:it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it,and it was divers from all the beasts that were before it,and it had ten hornes. 8 I considered the hornes, and behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns pluckt up by the roots:and behold,in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man,and a mouth speaking great things. 9 Âś I beheld (UN)till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool:his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. 10 A fiery stream issued, and came forth from before him: thousand thousands (MILLIONS) ministred unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand (HUNDRED MILLION) stood before him: the Judgement was set, and the books were opened.

11 I beheld then, because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake:I beheld euen till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. 12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. 13 I saw in the night visions, and behold, one like the son of man, came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14 And there was given him dominion and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages should serve him:his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away; and his kingdom that, which shall not be destroyed. 15 Âś I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this: so he told me,and made me know the interpretation of the things.

16

17 These great beasts, which are four, are four Kings, which shall arise out of the earth. 18 But the Saints of the most high shall take the kingdom, & possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever & ever. 19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass, which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet, 20 And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other, which came up,and before whom three fell, even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout (BRAVE,FIERCE, PROUD) then his fellowes. 21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the Saints, and prevailed against them; 22 Untill the Ancient of days came, and Judgment was given to the Saints of the most high: and the time came that the Saints possessed the kingdom. 23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diuerse from all kingdoms, & shall devoure the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. 24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten Kings that shall arise:and an other shall rise after them, and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three Kings. 25 And he shall speak great words against the most high, and shall wear out the Saints of the most high, and think to change times, and laws:and they shall be given into his hand, untill a time (ONE) and times (TWO),& the dividing of time (HALF). (THREE & HALF) 26 But the judgement shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion,to consume, and to destroy it unto the end. 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven,

shall be given to the people of the Saints of the most high (JEWISH PEOPLE), whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions (RULERS AFTER THE END) shall serve and obey him. 28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel,my cogitations much troubled me,and my countenance changed in me:but I kept the matter in my heart.

-S. II: ConclusionThe four beasts are four kings & *world empires (*Daniel 7:23) that will arise out of the sea. After the four beasts rose and fell, the saints of "the most high" will obtain the kingdom. (Illustrates that the context of the word kingdom refers to world rulership) At the reign of the fourth beast, the first three beasts had their world rulership taken away, but they (CULTURE/STANDARDS) lived on (IN THE BACKGROUND) for a *season & time (*WHILE). The fourth beast is diverse from the other three beasts in terms of it's exceeding dreadfulness: It will devour, tread down and break the entire earth into pieces, it will break everything in pieces and stamp on what's left with it's feet. The fourth beast has ten horns (KINGS) and when the time period of the rulership of the eleventh horn (KING) arrives, three of the ten horns (KINGS) will be put down by the eleventh horn (KING). The eleventh horn (KING) will go to war with the Jewish saints of "the most high" and wear them out, The eleventh horn (KING) will insult the most high with a mouth that speaks very great things and will be more stout then his allies. The Jewish saints will be given to the eleventh horn (KING) for 3,5 *time (360 day/year Hebrew calendar) and he will prevailed against the Jewish saints until then.

*Time,rendered from: ‫עד ד ןןן‬

(Source: blbclassic.org /Gesenius's Lexicon)

After (3,5x360=) 1260 days of being handed over to the eleventh horn (KING), A man, appearing to be the son of man, came with the clouds of heaven and was brought before the ancient of days and was gloriously crowned king, ordaining all people, nations & languages under his com mand, forever. The ancient of days, who's garnet was white as snow, had hair as like the pure wool, casted down his, (like the fiery flame with wheels as fire) throne and a stream of fire appeared out of his throne and millions ministered unto him, hundred million (JEWISH PEOPLE) stood before him to be judged, the books where opened. Afterwards they took away the dominion of the 11th horn (KING) and this event marks the end.The fourth beast is slain, destroyed and thrown into the burning flames. From this point on, all rulers on the earth will be servants of the most high.

2 And I saw in a vision (and it came to pass when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the palace, (which is in the province of Elam) and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai (*IRAN). 3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw,and behold, there stood before the river, a ram which had two horns, and the two horns were high: but one (MEDIA) was higher then the other, and the higher (PERSIA) came up last. 4 I saw the ram pushing Westward, & Northward, and Southward: so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand, but he did according to his will, and (THE KINGS OF MEDIA & PERSIA) became great. 5 And as I was considering, behold, a he-goat (KINGDOM OF GRECIA) came from the west on the face of the whole earth, & touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA). 6 And he (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA) came to the ram that had two hornes (THE KINGS OF MEDIA & PERSIA),which I had seen standing before the river, and (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA) ran unto him (THE KINGS OF MEDIA & PERSIA),in the fury of (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA) his power. 7 And I saw him (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA) come close unto the ram (THE KINGS OF MEDIA & PERSIA),and he (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA) was moved with choler (ANGER) against him (THE KINGS OF MEDIA & PERSIA), and (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA) smote the ram (THE KINGS OF MEDIA & PERSIA),and brake his (THE KINGS OF MEDIA & PERSIA) two horns, and there was no power in the ram (THE KINGS OF MEDIA & PERSIA) to stand before him (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA),but he (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA) cast him (THE KINGS OF MEDIA & PERSIA) down to the ground, and (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA) stamped upon him (THE KINGS OF MEDIA & PERSIA),and there was none that could deliver the ram (END OF WORLDWIDE POLITICAL INFLUENCE THE KINGS OF MEDIA & PERSIA) out of (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA) his hand.

Classical Greek culture, especially philosophy, spread throughout the Mediterranean region and laid the foundation for the Roman empire. Later, Romans carried on much of the Greek culture upon Europe, adding to it the Roman system of law. Traditional western culture is thought to have been created by three main historical factors: ancient Greece, the Roman empire, and Christianity. As such, it is also known by the terms "Greco-Roman culture", "Judeo-Christian culture", or "Judeo-Hellenic-Christian culture" for which reason classical Greece is generally considered to be the root culture which provided the foundation of modern western culture. 

The New Testament, the entire foundation of classical Christian culture is based upon texts written in Greek.

Mathematics is an art developed by the Greeks.

To be granted, entrance to top level European-Secular citizen education, Greek, by law, is a subject that is not optional.

Democracy is a Greek invention.

The term "democracy" first appeared in ancient Greek political and philosophical thought in the city-state of Athens during classical antiquity.Led by Cleisthenes,Athenians established what is generally held as the first democracy in 508-507 BCE. Cleisthenes is referred to as "the father of Athenian democracy." Athenian democracy took the form of a direct democracy, and it had two distinguishing features: the random selection of ordinary citizens to fill the few existing government administrative and judicial offices, and a legislative assembly consisting of all Athenian citizens. All eligible citizens were allowed to speak and vote in the assembly, which set the laws of the city state. However, Athenian citizenship excluded women, slaves, foreigners, non-landowners, and males under 20 years old. (Secular source: wikipedia.org)

-UNFULFILLED SECTION DANIEL 8*(*THE LAST POLITICAL & CULTURAL WORLD EMPIRE WITH GRECO-ROMAN, JUDEO-CHRISTIAN ROOTS)

9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the South, and toward the East, and toward the pleasant land (ISREAL). 10 And it waxed great even to the host of heaven, and it cast down some of the host, and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. 11 Yea he magnified himself even to the Prince of the host (THE FALSE PROPHET),and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his Sanctuary was cast down. 12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground, and it practised, and prospered. 13 Âś Then I heard one Saint speaking, and another Saint said unto that certain Saint which spake, how long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the Sanctuary, and the host to be troden under foot? 14 And he said unto me,Unto two thousand and three hundred (2300) days:then shall the (LAST) Sanctuary (HOLY TEMPLE) be cleansed.

Revelation: According to the visions of the Prophet Daniel,a man approved and beloved by God, the dominion of the Greek-set standards like democracy, that we hold for granted today will not be overtaken by another sociological world-view system untill the empowered ruler, the false prophet, appears in the 3rd Holy Temple.

Âś And it came to pass, when I,even I Daniel had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. 15

16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision. 17 So he came near where I stood:and when he came,I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man:for at the time of the end shall be the vision. 18 Now as he was speaking with me,I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.

19 And

he said, Behold, I wil make thee know what shall be in the last end of the *indignation for at the time appointed the end shall be. (*INDIGNATION: ANGER THAT IS CAUSED BY SOMETHING THAT IS UNFAIR OR WRONG)

20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns, are the kings of Media, and Persia. 21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia, and the great horn that is between his eyes,is the first king. 22 Now that (THE FIRST KING OF GRECIA) being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the (FIRST GRECIAN) nation, but not in his power. 23 And in the latter time of their kingdom (EMPIRE WITH GREEK ROOTS),when the *transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. 24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and (HE) shall prosper, and practise, and (HE) shall destroy the mighty, and the holy people. 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand, and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall (HE) destroy many: he shall also stand up against the prince of princes, but he shall be broken without hand. 26 And the vision of the evening, and the morning, which was told, is true: wherfore shut thou up the vision, for it shall be for many days. 27 And I Daniel fainted and was sick certain days: afterward I rose up and did the king's (Belshazzar) business, and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.

-S. III: ConclusionThe ram, having two horns, revealed as the kingdoms of Media and Persia became so great that no-one could liberate from their control. A he-goat appears suddenly, revealed as the kingdom of Grecia. with it's horn: the king of Greece. The king of Greece ran furiously into the kings of Media and Persia and smote them so badly that they vanished from the scene. No-one could liberate the ram out of the hands of the he-goat: therefore the he-goat had the opportunity to wax even greater then the ram ever was. (GREAT 8:4, VERY GREAT 8:9). After the conflict and the waxing of the he-goat, the great horn (FIRST KING OF GREECE) lost authority over the empire and in it's place came four new glorious empires, distributing the ways of Grecia over the entire globe. The four horns, identified as kings, are not under the com mand of Grecia but their rulership and their ways are in tradition of the disciplines of the classical Greek Empire. In the latter time of their rulership, when the rebels/ transgressors against "the most high" have finished their ways/plans, out of one of these four empires with Greek roots will appear "a small horn" who's power will wax excessively in comparison to the other empires. It waxes towards the east, the south and even towards Israel. The sanctuary (3rd HOLY TEMPLE) is cleansed after 2300 days of use: This time period marks the end.

Small horn: - Casts down the sanctuary (3rd HOLY TEMPLE). - Takes away daily sacrifice. - Cast down some of the Host's, and of the stars to the ground and stamps on them. - Magnifies himself to the prince of the most high (MESSIAH). - Receives a host against the daily sacrifice, because of transgression (SIN), and casts down the truth to the ground. - Practiced and prospered. - Shall destroy the mighty (UNIDENTIFIED), and will destroy the holy (JEWISH) people. - Shall fight the real Messiah at his arrival, and will be defeated "without hand". - Shall destroy many trough peace. - His deceptive policy shall prosper by his insight. - Will be mighty, but not by his own power.

DANIEL-GABRIEL THE 11th HORN FALSE PROPHET

21 Yea whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning (S. III),being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

And he informed me,and talked with me,and said; O Daniel,I am now come forth to *give thee skill and understanding. 22

8:27 And I Daniel was astonished at the vision, but none understood it.

23 At the beginning of thy supplications the com mandement came forth, and I am come to show thee:for thou art greatly beloved:therefore understand the matter, & consider the vision. 24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people (JEWISH PEOPLE),and upon thy holy city (JERUSALEM),to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sin, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint (ASSIGN) the most Holy. The everlasting kingdom, that ends sin and brings righteousness, and the rest described in verse 24, will be estabilished after the time period determined: 70 weeks.

25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandement to restore and to build Jerusalem, unto the Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks; and threescore and two weeks, the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore (60) and two (2) weeks, shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself, and the people of the Prince (GENTILES) that shall come, shall destroy the city (ROMANS 70 AD),and the Sanctuary, and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

.

-THE LAST WEEK(THE FULLNESS OF THE GENTILES CAME IN) ROMANS 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles to take out of them a people for his Name.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one *week and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, euen untill the consum mation, & that determined, shall be poured upon the desolate.

-S. IV: Conclusion-

Daniel,at this point being in Babylonian exile, is reported by Gabriel that, when the com mandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem will be given the counting of the 70 weeks untill the annointing of the everlasting ruler. When the Jewish Messiah appears, he will be "cut off" for his people. His people would come to destroy the 2nd Holy Temple and Jerusalem. According to the Gospel of the Jewish Messiah, the people of the Jewish Messiah are indentified as the Gentiles, who for the first time in history can get reconciliation with God trough water baptism and faith in the Messiah.

After the Jewish Messiah, indentified as Jesus Christ, is cut off: 69 of 70 "*Set's of 7" have passed. (LATIN *SEPTENARY/ GREEK *HEPTAD/ HEBREW *SHABUWA)

The period described as the last "*Set of 7" before the annointing of the everlasting ruler, is known all over the world as Daniel's 70th Week and the Week of Jacob's Trouble (JEREMIAH 30:7). It describes THE 11th HORN comfirming a covenant for seven years (7 BRC),halfway (3,5 BRC) into it, he will cause the oblation and sacrifice in the 3rd Holy Temple to cease and on account of "the overspreading of abominations" will he make the 3rd Holy Temple in Jerusalem desolate untill his destruction is executed.

Romans 11:25,14 Hints that God first wanted to pick a group of people from among the Gentiles before ending it all in the 70th week.

*The starting point for counting these 490 years (70 WEEKS) is the com mandment to restore and build Jerusalem. This happened in the year 445 BC in Artaxerxes’ 20 th year (Nehemiah. 2). To begin with follow the seven weeks, that is 49 years, in which Jerusalem was rebuilt under great threat from within and from without. This is partly described in the book of Nehemiah. Then follow the 62 weeks or 434 years leading up to the Messiah. But after the 69 weeks, that is 483 years, the Messiah would be cut off. *According to earlier opinion Artaxerxes’ edict was made in 455 BC. If one deducts 483 years one gets the year 28 AC. This can only relate to the death and ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ. If one calculates these 483 years as prophetical years of 360 days each (12 x 30 days) one gets 173.880 days which including the leap-years result in 476 calendar years and lead to the year 31/32 AC. DANIEL-ANGEL

1 In the third year of Cyrus King of Persia (*539 BC),a thing was revealed unto Daniel (whose name was called Belteshazzar) and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long, and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision. (*Christian source)

-THE FINAL VISION(AN ANGEL BRINGS DANIEL THE FINAL PIECE OF CONTEXTUAL UNDERSTANDING)

5 Then I lift up mine eyes and looked, and behold, a certain man clothed in linen, whose loines were girded with fine gold of Uphaz. 6 His body also was like the Berill, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms, and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. 7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision: but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves 8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. 9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. 10 Âś And behold, a hand touched me,which set me upon my knees, and upon the palms of my hands. 11 And he said unto me, O Daniel,a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent; and when he had spoken this word unto me,I stood trembling. 12 Then said he unto me;Fear not, Daniel:for from the first day that thou diddest set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thy self before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but lo, Michael one of the chief Princes came to help me, and I remained there with the Kings of Persia. 14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people, in the latter days: for yet *the vision is for many days. (*Vision explains an extensive period of time, 10:1.)

15 And when he had spoken such words unto me,I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. 16 And behold, one like the similitude (SIMILARITY) of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me;O my Lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me,and I have retained no strength. 17 For how can the servant of this my Lord, talk with this my Lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me,neither is there breath left in me. 18 Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthned me, 19 And said; O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea be strong; and when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said; Let my Lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me. 20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia:and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. 21 But I will shew thee that which is noted in the Scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

-S. V: Conclusion-

An Angel, reported to display exceedingly authoritative, wonderous and intimidating qualities, quakes the ground and only Daniel stands to eyewitness the vision that is given. The vision, being so intense, causing Daniel to lose all his strength until the voice of the Angel causes Daniel to fall asleep. The touch of the Angel's hand forced Daniel on his knees and on the palms of his hands. The Angel reports to Daniel that he is greatly beloved, and the reason for the report is that God wanted to respond to Daniel: Who was heared *since he turned his heart towards understanding and chastening himself before his God. (*hints what one can do if one desires to be heard by God) The Angel explains to Daniel that the king of Persia managed to resist him for twenty-one days until a (higher) chief ranked Angel, named Micheal, came to the rescue. The Angel that appeared to Daniel explains that the purpose of this vision is to make the people of Daniel, The Jewish people, understand what will occur to them in the "Latter days". When the Angel disclosed this information, Daniel became weak because of the sorrows the vision inflicted upon him, the Angel strengthened Daniel and told him that he must go to fight with the prince of Persia. When the angel is gone, the king of Grecia shall come.

DANIEL-ANGEL

1 Also I,in the first year of Darius the Mede, euen I stood to confirm and to strengthen him (THE PRINCE OF PERSIA). 2 And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three Kings in Persia, & the *fourth shall be far richer then they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

*Xerxes (486 - 465 BC) was the driving force of the second Persian invasion into Greece. It was the most ambitious military undertaking in the history of the world at the time, and it ended in utter disaster for Persia. Xerxes enormous armies were decisively beaten by Greek forces a fraction of their size. The event, which occurred only six years into his reign, devastated Xerxes, and although he reigned for fifteen more years, he did not undertake virtually any ambitious projects of reform or conquest during the rest of his life (Secular Source: heritage-history.com)

3 And a mighty *King shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. 4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be pluckt up, even for others besides those.

*Alexander (III OF MACEDON) the Great, was a king of the Greek kingdom of Macedon. Born in 356 BC, Alexander succeeded his father,Philip II, in the year 336 BC, to the throne at the age of twenty. He spent most of his ruling years on an unprecedented military campaign through Asia and northeast Africa, until by the age of thirty he had created one of the largest empires of the ancient world, stretching from Greece to Egypt and into present-day Pakistan. He was undefeated in battle and is considered one of history's most successful com manders. In 334 BC, he invaded the Achaemenid empire, ruled Asia Minor, and began a series of campaigns that lasted ten years. Alexander broke the power of Persia in a series of decisive battles. Alexander's death was so sudden that when reports of his death reached Greece, they were not immediately believed. Alexander had no obvious or legitimate heir, his son Alexander IV by Roxane being born after Alexander's death. According to Diodorus, Alexander's companions asked him on his deathbed to whom he bequeathed his kingdom; his laconic reply was "tôi kratistôi"—"to the strongest"

Perdiccas initially did not claim power, instead suggesting that Roxane's baby would be king, if male; with himself, Craterus, Leonnatus, and Antipater as guardians. However, the infantry, under the com mand of Meleager, rejected this arrangement since they had been excluded from the discussion. Instead, they supported Alexander's half-brother Philip Arrhidaeus. Eventually, the two sides reconciled, and after the birth of Alexander IV, he and Philip III were appointed joint kings, albeit in name only. Dissension and rivalry soon afflicted the Macedonians, however. The satrapies handed out by Perdiccas at the Partition of Babylon became power bases each general used to bid for power. After the assassination of Perdiccas in 321 BC, Macedonian unity collapsed, and 40 years of war between "The Successors" (Diadochi) ensued before the Hellenistic world settled into four stable power blocks: the Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt, the Seleucid Empire in the east, the Kingdom of Pergamon in Asia Minor, and Macedon. In the process, both Alexander IV and Philip III were murdered. (Secular sources: wikipedia.org & historyofmacedonia.org)

The Ptolemaic Kingdom was a *Hellenistic kingdom in Egypt. It was ruled by the Ptolemaic dynasty that Ptolemy I Soter founded after the death of Alexander the Great in 323 BC— which ended with the death of Cleopatra VII and the Roman conquest in 30 BC.

The Seleucid Empire was a *Hellenistic state ruled by the Seleucid dynasty founded by Seleucus Nicator following the division of the empire created by Alexander the Great. Seleucus received Babylonia and, from there, expanded his dominions to include much of Alexander's near eastern territories. At the height of its power, it included central Anatolia, the Levant, Mesopotamia, Kuwait, Persia, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and northwest parts of India.

The *Hellenistic period is the period of ancient Greek and Mediterranean history between the death of Alexander the Great in 323 BC and the emergence of the Roman Empire as signified by the Battle of Actium in 31 BC and the subsequent conquest of Ptolemaic Egypt in 30 BC. At this time, Greek cultural influence and power was at its peak in Europe, Africa and Asia, experiencing prosperity and progress in the arts, exploration, literature, theatre, architecture, music, mathematics, philosophy, and science. It is often considered a period of transition, sometimes even of decadence or degeneration, compared to the brilliance of the Greek Classical era. The word *Hellenistic is a modern word and a 19th-century concept; the idea of a Hellenistic period did not exist in Ancient Greece. it was J. G. Droysen in the mid-19th Century, who in his classic work Geschichte des Hellenismus, i.e. History of Hellenism, coined the term Hellenistic to refer to and define the period when Greek culture spread in the non-Greek world after Alexander’s conquest.

KING OF THE NORTH (TERRITORY)

260BC 5 Âś And the King of the South shall be strong, and one of his princes, and he shall be strong above him,and have dominion: his dominion shall be a great dominion. 6 And in the end of years they shall join themselves together: for the Kings daughter of the South shall come to the King of the North to make an agreement, but she shall not retain the power of the army, neither shall he stand, nor his army: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her,and he that begate her,and he that strengthened her in these times. 7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortresses of the King of the North, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:

-Second Syrian War (260 - 253 BC)Antiochus II succeeded his father in 261 BC, and thus began a new war for Syria. He reached an agreement with the current Antigonid king in Macedon, Antigonus II Gonatas, who was also interested in pushing Ptolemy II out of the Aegean. With Macedon's support, Antiochus II launched an attack on Ptolemaic outposts in Asia. The war was concluded with the marriage of Antiochus to Ptolemy's daughter, Berenice Syra.Antiochus repudiated his previous wife, Laodice, and turned over substantial domain to her. He died in Ephesus in 246 BC, poisoned by Laodice according to some sources. Ptolemy II died in the same year. Berenice, was the daughter of Ptolemy II Philadelphus and his first wife Arsinoe I of Egypt. In 261 BC, she married the Seleucid monarch Antiochus II Theos, who, following an agreement with Ptolemy (249 BC), had divorced his wife Laodice I and transferred the succession to Berenice's children. In 246 BC, when Ptolemy died, Antiochus II took up again with his first wife, Laodice. The Syrian king died shortly thereafter, many suspect from poisoning. Queen Berenice claimed the regency for her infant son Antiochus and conquered Soloia with her army; however, she and her son were both killed by Laodice. Berenice's brother, Ptolemy III Euergetes, succeeded their father and set about to avenge his sister's murder by invading Syria and having Laodice killed.

-Third Syrian War (246 - 241 BC)Also known as the Laodicean War. Antiochus II left two ambitious mothers, his repudiated wife Laodice and Ptolemy II's daughter Berenice Syra,in a competition to put their respective sons on the throne. Laodice

claimed that Antiochus had named her son heir while on his deathbed, but Berenice argued that her newly born son was the legitimate heir. Berenice asked her brother Ptolemy III,the new Ptolemaic king,to come to Antioch and help place her son on the throne. When Ptolemy arrived, Berenice and her child had been assassinated. Ptolemy declared war on Laodice's newly crowned son, Seleucus II,in 246 BC, and campaigned with great success. He won major victories over Seleucus in Syria and Anatolia. In exchange for a peace in 241 BC, Ptolemy was awarded new territories on the northern coast of Syria, including Seleucia Pieria, the port of Antioch. The Ptolemaic kingdom was at the height of its power. (Secular source: wikipedia.org)

8 And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold, and he shall continue moe years then the King of the North. 9 So the King of the South shall come into his kingdom, and shall returne into his own land. 10 But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one (son) shall certainly come and overflow and pass through: then shall he (son) return, and be stirred up even to his fortresse. 11 And the King of the South shall be moved with choler (ANGER),and shall come forth and fight with him (son),even with the King of the North:and he shall set forth a great multitude, but the multitude shall be given into his hand. 12 And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up: and he shall cast down many tens of thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it. 13 For the King of the North shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater then the former, and shall certainly come (after certain years) with a great army & with much riches. 14 And in those times there shall many stand up against the King of the South:also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision, but they shall fall.

200 BC 15 So the King of the North shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities, and the forces of the South shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand. 16 But he that commeth against him, shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him:and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed. 200 BC: Jerusalem falls under the control of the Seleucid Empire following the *Battle of Panium (part of the Fifth Syrian War) in which Antiochus III the Great defeated the Ptolemies. *The Battle of Panium was fought in 200 BC between Seleucid and Ptolemaic forces as part of the Syrian Wars. The Seleucids were led by Antiochus III the Great, while the Ptolemaic army was led by Scopas of

Aetolia. The Seleucids won the battle. Details of this battle are not clear, but it is known today that major factor in the Seleucid victory was that the Seleucid army used the cataphract in a decisive manner. The cataphracts attacked the Egyptian cavalry on the flanks and drove the enemy cavalry off, leaving the backs of the enemy infantry to the front of the line exposed. The Seleucid cataphracts then attacked their infantry in the rear, thus leading to an Egyptian rout. The specific equipment used by these relatively early cataphracts is not clearly known. Apparently Antiochus the Younger (221 BC-193 BC),first born son of Antiochus III was in com mand of the cavalry who led the sucessfull attack on the flanks and the Egyptian rear. The battle was fought near Paneas (Caesarea Philippi), and marked the end of Ptolemaic rule in Judea. In 193 BC, Antiochus died. His family was in complete grief of his death, in particular Antiochus III. Antiochus was succeeded by his younger brother Seleucus IV Philopator. (Secular source: wikipedia.org)

18 After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many, but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease without his own reproach: he shall cause it to turn upon him. In 192 BC Antiochus III invaded Greece with a 10,000 man army, and was elected the com mander in chief of the Aetolian League. The reign of his son and successor *Seleucus IV Philopator (187-175 BC) was largely spent in attempts to pay the large indemnity, Around 178 BC Seleucus sent Heliodorus to Jerusalem to collect money to pay the Romans On his return from Jerusalem, Heliodorus assassinated Seleucus, and seized the throne for himself. *Seleucus IV Philopator, ruler of the Hellenistic Seleucid Empire, reigned from 187 BC to 175 BC over a realm consisting of Syria (now including Cilicia and Judea), Mesopotamia, Babylonia and Nearer Iran (Media and Persia). He was the second son and successor of Antiochus III the Great and Laodice III.Seleucus IV wed his sister Laodice IV, by whom he had three children: two sons Antiochus, Demetrius I Soter and a daughter Laodice V. He was compelled by financial necessities, created in part by the heavy warindemnity exacted by Rome, to pursue an ambitious policy. In an effort to collect money to pay the Romans, he sent his minister Heliodorus to Jerusalem to seize the Jewish temple treasury. The Bible tells of a prophecy given by a messenger angel in Daniel 11:20 (NLT). The text states that Seleucus "will be remembered as the king who sent a tax collector to maintain the royal splendor." The Apocrypha lends more to this in 2 Maccabees 3:2-3... "It came to pass that even the kings themselves, and the princes esteemed the place [the Temple in Jerusalem] worthy of the highest honour, and glorified the temple with very great gifts: So that Seleucus king of Asia allowed out of his revenues all the charges belonging to the ministry of the sacrifices." On his return from Jerusalem, Heliodorus assassinated Seleucus, and seized the throne for himself. The true heir Demetrius, son of Seleucus, was now being retained in Rome as a hostage, and the kingdom was seized by the younger brother of Seleucus, Antiochus IV Epiphanes. Antiochus managed to oust Heliodorus and an

infant son of Seleucus, also named Antiochus, was formal head of state for a few years until Epiphanes had him murdered. (Secular source: wikipedia.org)

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people, and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. 2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness, as the stars for ever and ever. 4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. 5 Âś Then I Daniel looked, and behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river. 6 And one said to the man clothed in linnen, which was upon the waters of the river; How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? 7 And I heard the man clothed in linnen, which was upon the waters of the riuer, when he held up his right hand, and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever, that it shall be for a time, times, and an half: and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. 8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I,O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? 9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel:for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white and tried: but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up,there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and commeth to the thousand, three hundred and five and thirty days. 13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in the lot at the end of the days.
