WELCOME RAMS FANS
TO THE 2021 FALL SPORTS SEASON>>> On behalf of the entire Central Catholic Athletic Department, we welcome and thank you for your support of our athletic programs. We are proud of our athlete’s accomplishments both on and off the field, and are pleased to highlight our fall athletic teams in this program. The Central Catholic Athletic Department’s mission is to educate the whole person and we believe athletics play a major role in developing our athletes. While we take great pride in our team’s accomplishments, the main focus is placed on our student athlete’s spiritual and academic growth, as well as the social and physical aspects of participating on a team. I am proud of our coaching staff and the role models they are to our athletes and entire community. The ultimate goal for our coaches is to create an environment of sportsmanship and team work that embodies the mission of Central Catholic. We also value building partnerships with parents and creating an environment that is supportive and nurturing of our students and athletes. We look forward to seeing you at many of our events and thank you for your continued support of Central Catholic Athletics.

HEAD COACH >>A MESSAGE FROM THE FOOTBALL
WE ARE VERY EXCITED TO KICK OFF THE 2021 EDITION OF RAM FOOTBALL. Our players have been working very hard in the off season and are ready to take on the challenge ahead. With 9 seniors on this year’s roster, we will look to them to lead the way with their collective experience in our program. These young men have accepted the challenge of dealing with Covid 19 and all that it brought, and they are ready for the challenge ahead of them and look forward to the opportunity to compete against such great programs. We thank all of our parents, school staff and community for their continued support of Ram Football! #GORAMS #TCOM #C.R.A.F.T.E.D.

HEAD COACH >>A MESSAGE FROM THE BOYS SOCCER
REGARDLESS IF WE PLAY 9 GAMES OR 19 THE CENTRAL CATHOLIC BOYS SOCCER TEAMS ARE ALWAYS READY FOR THE CHALLENGES OF THE SEASON! This year we return 9 players to our varsity team while adding 11 new boys to the squad. As typical, our team is loaded with speed, talent, and senior leadership. The boys are hungry to get back on the pitch and show their best! Our JV and JVII teams are coming together and learning what it means to be a Ram within the boys soccer program. Each team possesses great individual and team talent and are looking to develop their skills into varsity players in the near future!

HEAD COACH >>A MESSAGE FROM THE CROSS COUNTRY
THE BOYS CROSS COUNTRY TEAM GRADUATED 18 FANTASTIC SENIORS A YEAR AGO AND IS CERTAINLY DOWN IN TERMS OF SIZE - but not lacking in talent, work ethic, and heart. While there will be no official State Meet, these boys have worked tirelessly through the summer, fall, and winter to represent Central Catholic to the best of their abilities this season, and we have great expectations. Thanks to our parents, alumni, and CCHS community for their support during this unique time in our history.
GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY HAS BEEN WORKING HARD SINCE AUGUST. They have run the miles and persevered during a very difficult time when the future was unclear. Despite that they pulled together as a team and dedicated themselves to the process. The team is excited to compete and test their hard work. No matter the outcome on the course they are winners for showing up and working hard. We are led by three seniors who are working to lead their team. Thanks to the parents, staff and ramily for all of their support!

>>A MESSAGE FROM THE CHEER
HEAD COACH
The Varsity Cheer Team is looking forward to the upcoming season at Central Catholic. The team has been working together since late-April and are excited to share their spirit and new material with the students and faculty of CC. Varsity Cheerleaders perform a mix of cheer, dance and stunts on the sidelines, between quarters and during halftime - they also compete at OSAA State Cheerleading Championships and were ranked among the top 10 in their division in 2019. This year’s team is ready to help increase school spirit and cheer our Rams onto victory. GO RAMS!
Gretchen Groves Head Cheer Coach
Gretchen Groves >> HEAD CHEER COACH Coach Gretchen has always had a love for cheer. Whether cheering on her favorite teams from the sidelines, or coaching, cheerleading has been a part of her life for more than 21 years. After cheering for two years in high school, she went on to cheer at Mt. Hood Community College, Portland State University, and later two Oregon semi-pro football teams. She began coaching at the high school level in 2001 and has only taken one year off to spend with her two young boys, Cooper and Crosby, since. Gretchen has been a part of the Ram fam since 2015, and couldn't be more excited to continue her work, ensuring the cheer program grows under her direction.
