Come together to celebrate two decades of the best of contemporary Australian photography in HOTA’s next major exhibition. The Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award 2022 presents a diverse selection of works by artists working at the forefront of photographic media. On the 20th anniversary of the award, rediscover highlights from a selection of past award winners and finalists. A retrospective presented in the new HOTA Gallery for the first time, you’ll find stories and make memories from a collection that reflects shifts in the cultural and social landscape since 2002.

Cruel Intentions: The 90’s Musical

A hit new musical based on the Hollywood film is coming to the Gold Coast this January! ARIA Award Winning Children’s Artist, Teeny Tiny Stevies are coming to HOTA as part of their most comprehensive National Album Tour to date! Performing a mix of fan favourites and brand new material from their new album ‘How to be Creative’, the band will be leaving no stone unturned. The new album is a ten song masterclass in embracing the creative urge, overcoming self-doubt, trying new things, learning from mistakes, working with others, and the superpower that is perseverance.

Disney 100: The Concert

Disney 100: The Concert is coming to the Gold Coast! Celebrate a century of everyone’s favourite Disney hits - Cinderella, Beauty & The Beast, The Lion King, Moana, Encanto and so much more. You will be dazzled as a cast of Australian musical theatre stars, 45 piece symphony orchestra and maestra Jessica Gethin bring your favourite Disney animated film scores to life. Become part of our world, as Disney 100: The Concert arrives on the Gold Coast for the first time in forever! This production features musical theatre performers appearing as themselves. Costumed Disney characters do not appear in this concert. Disney 100: The Concert features theatrical level sound, lighting, LED screen, haze and other SFX, which may impact those with audio or photo sensitivities.
