GCMAG: How did you get involved in the golf cart industry? BRET: Back in 2009, on behalf of the economy crashing, I was laid off from an engineering firm. My college roommate was working at a shop [golf shop] in Columbia [SC] and asked if I wanted to give it a try. After several months of doing it, my father and I decided to open up shop in Rock Hill, SC. GCMAG: When did your business really take off and why? BRET: About 5 years ago business really started picking up. Advertising and putting a word of mouth footprint in our community grew our business tremendously. Acquiring the major dealer lines [Yamaha, Club Cart, Star Carts] have been a big boost for our business as well. GCMAG: What are your future plans for growth and expansion? BRET: We intend to continue our current growth at our current location and are currently looking into the development of our second location. We are always diligently looking for
