ABOUT THE AWARDS

The Australian Good Design Awards continues a long and proud legacy of showcasing the very best in design and innovation to a global audience. The Awards are one of the longest-running international design awards and have been promoting excellence in design and innovation since 1958.

The awards have been recognised by the World Design Organization (WDO) as Australia’s peak international design endorsement and promotion program. They represent the diverse spectrum of design over 11 specific design disciplines that cover more than 30 categories and subcategories. Each year, the program attracts new and innovative design projects from around the world, celebrating the very best in all areas of design, architecture, engineering, design research and social innovation.

Entries explore design through the unique lens of a range of industries and initiatives. They encompass everyday products and services, the spaces we occupy and the processes and systems that underpin our businesses, industries, economies and social habits.
