Love Like No Other

Have you ever noticed when you pray, cry, kiss or dream that you close your eyes? We do this because the most beautiful things in life are not seen but they are felt in the heart. Often, we are searching on the outside for something that we already have inside—we just have to be willing to accept it.

The relationship that we have with ourself and the way that we treat ourself will set the tone for every other relationship that we have in this life. We have to love ourself as if we were standing in the middle of a field with a rainbow that has gold at both ends. Sometimes in life we accept the love that we think we deserve. When you learn to love someone, it is not by finding the perfect person but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly.

Sometimes, we search for love in every place and never seem to find it, yet it has always been right in front of us. The greatest test in life is not falling, but rising every time we fall. This often applies to love. When we get our hearts broken, we feel so fragile, however we must stay strong and keep our face toward the sun, and the shadows will stay behind us. In life, we often overlook those who know all about us and yet they still love us.

To love ourself is the beginning of a life-long romance that will be carried on by others. So, in life do everything with a loving heart and mind. Just as the Bible tells us in 1 John 4:19, “We love because He first loved us.” God’s love is the greatest love that we could ever accept in this lifetime. Sometimes, the aspect of love may change but never the essence of love. In marriage, love is the reason, lifelong friendship is the gift, kindness is the cause, and till death do us part is the length. Just always remember that above all else you must guard your heart, for everything that you do flows from it. Make this life worth living and love each day as if it were your last. Always remember as the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 16:14, “Do everything in love.”
