They say
As I take a moment to reflect on 2022, I can’t help but be humbled and grateful by what we as a team and organization were able to accomplish. With hustle and heart we exceeded our budget; we served 14,978 people and placed 1,314 people in the community; we launched a new Services program Next Steps and Google certifications; we received a three-year CARF accreditation; remodeled our Outlet, San Mateo and Coors locations; moved corporate offices and relocated ecommerce; implemented several employee wage increases; turned our mission toward our employees by providing internal case management, mentorship and training opportunities, and launched the GED program; improved our transportation fleet; and began the ground work to implement new sustainability efforts. This list is not all inclusive and represents just some of the major accomplishments. As we move into 2023 you will continue to see Goodwill grow. There are plans for new Services initiatives and programs; additional stores; new sustainability efforts; a new ecommerce platform and upgrades to our technology infrastructure.
In addition, we continue to recognize that our employees are the heart of our organization and we could not fulfill our mission without each and every one of them. I continue to be inspired by their capacity for caring, hard work, and commitment to our vision for all New Mexicans. I am also extremely grateful for an engaged Board of Directors, loyal customers and donors, and our community partners. Together we will go far!
In continued service and gratitude,
