Location

For my first design theme I have decided to go with an organic theme. I have chosen this theme with the intent to contrast the area in which my building will be built in. This will mean my building will be easily seen amongst the jungle of concrete and pavement, with my building providing a colourful and vibrant focal point of the area. The theme for my building will also have to be made from recycled materials and be ecologically friendly. .…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

This model develops on further from the previous wooden one by using the technique of wrapping. This creates a more filled out and enclosed form allowing me to more easily visualise and develop on from the previous model. …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………… ……………………………………………………………………………

How to Develop Duplication Reflection Scale Materials Colour

Ideas

Laurynus

Notes

Shows development over large scale

1.Create a model to get a 3D view of a possible model

Lots of small sketches showing detail in each development Explores materials when making models Adding people to his models to show scale Got rid of backgrounds to make the models look cleaner

Fiddehead Fern

Meatamorphic Fluidity Volcano

Notes 1.

Start with a source, inspired from your chosen theme, Laurynus chose a leaf from an organic theme.

2.

Then develop from this Into several individual unrelated ideas using different mediums such as painting, sketches and archichad.

3.

Draw these from different angles to give a better understanding of your ideas

2. Change the material and shape of the model, with taking inspiration from the previous model. 3. Develop this new model into a set of drawings presented as buildings.
