JOHN TIEGEN SECURITY AND MILITARY CONSULTANT TUESDAY

John ‘Tig’ Tiegen is a Security and Military Consultant and former Marine Sergeant from the 3 rd Battalion 7th Marines India Company, Infantry Squad Leader from Colorado. Tiegen served abroad for many years as a security contractor for Blackwater working on missions in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iraq before joining the CIA’s Global Response Staff. Tiegen was a member of the CIA annex security team that responded to the attack in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. He is responsible for saving many lives and has been recognized for his bravery. He has since co-authored the book 13 Hours along with other members of the annex security team and Mitchell Zuckoff. The harrowing tale of what really happened in Benghazi quickly became a New York Times bestseller. Link to official bio
