SALE DAY
Join us Saturday, March 16th at the ranch 4 miles North of Letcher, SD for viewing of the cattle and refreshments.
Coffee and doughnuts, lunch, and Happy Hour are taken care of - so stop by, look at the cattle, and grab something to eat!

LZ Livestock has earned the MaternalPlus™ designation from the American Angus Association based on their total herd enrollment program.
SALE TERMS
LZ Livestock is selling full interest + full possession of all sale lots. Sale prices will be determined final through the online bid off process hosted by The Livestock Link (TLL).
WINTERING + DELIVERY
All sale lots winter free of charge until April 1st. If you are unable to take delivery at that time a daily feeding rate will be charged. Bulls will be delivered free of charge within 250 mile radius. All efforts will be made for timely delivery after the sale.
GUARANTEE
We are 1 of only 22 herds in SD to meet this requirement. This is a way to showcase the data of our whole program so that it is as accurate and powerful as possible.
BIDDING

Bidding will open Sat., March 16th at 7am and close for extended bidding at 7pm.
If you have not used this platform before, please register to bid as soon as possible. TLL requires basic banking information and will verify those requesting to bid. Please do not wait until the day of the sale to request approval to bid.

All bulls are guaranteed breeders for their first breeding season. Successful bidders assume risk of sale lots once sale is final on March 16th. Our highest priority is to sell sound, functional animals that meet the breeding needs of your program, but recognize the health and soundness of cattle is a shared responsibility following sale day. Should a bull or heifer become injured during the first breeding season a suitable replacement will be provided if available. If one is not available, sale credit will be offered towards our 2025 Production Sale less $3,000 of sale price. This guarantee does not apply to death loss. Full salvage value is retained by new owner. All bulls will be fertility tested prior to delivery. All claims must be made by 9/1/24.

2024 is off to a great start and we are excited to welcome you back to the LZ Livestock 2nd Annual Production Sale. We have spent the year growing our program and take great pride is bringing a great set of bulls and heifers.
Without a doubt, 2023 was a great year for our program with an exceptional set of calves born in February and every cow coming back pregnant in the Fall. The 2023 calving season blessed us with a greater proportion of heifer calves than we expected, so we decided to pull 8 from the replacement pen and offer in this year’s sale. There should be no doubt that any of these females would be welcome to find their place among our herd, but due to pasture limitations we simply can’t keep them all. The yearling bulls have greatly enjoyed our nice winter and are in ideal condition ready to go to work for you this spring.
All animals are ready for viewing at your convenience and we welcome you to the ranch any time. This year we hope you can join us on sale day, March 16th, to look at the cattle and enjoy food and beverages throughout the day. Riley, our event coordinator, will have coffee and rolls on in the morning, hot beef sandwiches for lunch, and a Happy Hour spread ready by 4pm.
