Lemmon is home to the southernmost ski area in the United States, which is perched near the 9,157-foot summit. Located just an hour’s drive away, visitors can golf and swim then downhill ski all in the same day. Saguaro National Park’s two districts offer more than 165 miles of hiking trails. FINGER ROCK TRAIL In North-central Tucson, at the north end of Alvernon Way, Finger Rock is a highly visible landmark in the Santa Catalina Mountains. Finger Rock is extremely steep—climbing from 3,000 to well over 7,000 feet. The 10-mile round trip is for intermediate to advanced hikers, offering diverse wildlife and remarkable city views.
