GOSFORD TIMES 12.12.1918. RETURN THANKS. MR. WILLIAM CRANE, Ourimbah, desires to thank the residents who were interested in the presentation to thim of a gold medal and illuminated photo of his beloved son Phillip, who was killed in action in France in 1917.
GOSFORD TIMES 12.12.1918. IN MEMORIAM The other day Messrs S. Joyce an C.H. McPherson called on Mr W. Crane, and on behalf of the residents of Ourimbah presented him with a photo of his Phillip, who was killed in action in France in 1917. The medal bears the inscription – “ In Memory of Phillip Crane, killed in action in France, 1917. Presented to his father with profound sympathy from residents of Ourimbah.” Mr Crane desires to thank Ourimbah people for their thoughtful act.
