Gosford Times 18th October 1917 Private Thomas Richard French, of Gosford, is reported to have died of wounds on 16 th September. Corporal Alfred James Hammond, of Penang Mountain, was killed in action on 20 th September. Both fatalities are officially recorded in this week’s casualty list.

I also wish to thanks the members of Red Cross Branch for their sympathy in the recent loss of my beloved soldier brother, Thomas Richard French.
