AT THE LAST COUNCIL MEETING

The Aboriginal land claim on several parcels of land adjacent to Kincumber Creek and the Carrack Road Reserve at Kincumber has been supported by council. Support for the claim follows discussions with the Darkinjung Aboriginal Land Council.

AT THE LAST COUNCIL MEETING

Following a public exhibition period, a Draft Plan of Management for the Narara Valley Sporting Precinct has been adopted. The precinct will provide additional recreational facilities for both local and regional communities and will be partly funded by the Federal Government.

AT THE LAST COUNCIL MEETING

The draft Grants, Sponsorship and Funding Policy will be placed on public exhibition from Wednesday 19 February to Wednesday 19 March 2014. The policy will provide a council wide framework, standardising the process for grants, donations, subsidies and sponsorship that provide support to the local community.

All litter was transported to Woy Woy Landfill and weighed in at a whopping 300 kilograms. It was a fantastic effort by the students and teaching staff from North Gosford Learning Centre in very demanding conditions....

The 300th exhibition was another popular annual exhibition that supports and celebrates aspiring young artists from the Central Coast. Each year, A Central Vision celebrates the achievements of Central Coast Secondary Public Schools within the Visual Arts arena.

A tender from local company Scape Constructions Pty Ltd has been accepted to improve the street drainage system at Pomona Road, Empire Bay. The project will include the construction of 220 metres of stormwater pipes, stormwater pits and associated works.
