Music Perform in a world-class concert hall, travel the country on choir tour, star in the college’s musical and study the power of music in cultures around the world. While our music curriculum is rooted in the classical music tradition, at GC you will also experience world music, jazz, contemporary, folk music and all styles of church music. Our music courses are designed for music majors who want to pursue a career in the world of music, or those who want to minor in music to master their instrument.

Theater Enter the theater world with an understanding of all aspects of an artistic performance. Try out the director’s chair or explore the art of designing costumes, light, sound or hair and makeup. At Goshen College, you can star in a mainstage and learn how to build a set with hands-on experience through full-length works, one act plays and musical theater performances. And before graduating, present your own senior show! Augment your thespian knowledge with courses in art, music, communication, English, American Sign Language and film.

Visual Arts Find your creative niche in Goshen College’s art program. The years you spend studying art at Goshen will take you to the potter’s wheel, behind the welder’s mask, teaching in classrooms and mounting your own senior art exhibit. Local Arts Community The arts are so important to the Goshen community, city leadership created the Goshen Arts Council. Goshen is also home to:
