What our students say about Ozford. Shiqi (Alice) Zeng VCE Year 12

My Name is Alice and I am from Guangzhou, China. I decided to come to Australia mainly because of my excitement in studying aboard. As an overseas student, surely I have encountered many difficulties in my study and in my life but Ozford is where I feel safe and it is also the place I seek help and advice all the time. Being one of the year 11 and year 12 student at Ozford has led me to great success. ‘No man is an island’, a friendly reminder told by my ESL teacher, shows how important team work means. During the study periods at Ozford, I was overwhelmed by the continuous and helpful support from the teachers. They were always keen to answer my questions, provided me with clear and detailed explanations. If it was not for Ozford, there would not be me getting a fulfilling VCE result.

Tran Hoang Hai VCE Student who scored an ATAR of 93.15.

He later received a scholarship to further study at Monash University in the Faculty of Engineering.

Our Graduate says... My name is Joanne, and I am from Melbourne Australia. I have recently completed Certificate IV in Tesol Course. I am extremely pleased I chose Ozford. The teachers were very supportive during class and always available via email if you needed help with an assignment while working from home. Certificate IV course involves lesson planning and then putting that lesson into practise with a class. With no previous teaching experience this was a little scary at first, but the teachers guided me and with their support I became quite accomplished and enjoyed the experience. Teaching manuals and all the necessary literature you need including class exercises for all levels was easily accessible in the Ozford College Library. Through the Ozford College experience I met people from many different cultures who became close friends as we all worked together and helped each other through the course. The small classes gave us the opportunity to not only work together but also have a lot of fun. I am now a volunteer at AMES teaching English as a second language to refugees. I hope to further my studies at Ozford College and eventually like to have my own business teaching English as a second language. This was a wonderful rewarding experience due to the commitment and attention Ozford College teachers gave their students. I highly recommend the Ozford College experience.
