improve the way in which we live. No other field has the same potential to leave such a deep, lasting legacy for the benefit of people, societies and cultures. Taking science subjects means you will have more career options to choose from, but to have better access to these opportunities you need to enrol in science subjects in Years 11 and 12. Science often involves international travel and overseas postings. Studying Science gives you an invaluable range of problem-solving skills that employers are looking for. In many areas of science, there are not enough science graduates.

Refunds are available (minus $20 administration fee) up until 4 weeks before the particular program commences.

Accommodation:
Most programs are non-residential and students requiring accommodation must make their own arrangements. At an extra cost, accommodation is available at James Cook University, Townsville, University of New England, Armidale and Flinders University, Adelaide.

Who We Represent...........
The Science Schools Foundation Incorporated is an independent non-profit association of educationists, Rotarians and industrialists. It is the body responsible for the establishment, management and conduct nationally of The Science Experience.
Supported by: Australian Science Teachers Association (ASTA) promotes the
program to schools and teacher members.
Rotary Clubs promote the program, contact schools, sponsor many students to attend, participate actively in organising programs and in providing social activities.
Universities and Tertiary Institutions organise and conduct the programs
on their campuses and provide a director, presenters, laboratories and other resources.
Young Scientists of Australia (YSA), several hundred YSA members
voluntarily assist universities and tertiary institutions in conducting the programs.
