This auction will be facilitated by DV Auction. The format of this sale is online with a live close. On the day of March 8, 2023, the sale will be open for bids to be placed during the day from 8am-6pm CST. however, at 7pm CST we will have a live auction, with a live auctioneer taking the final bids lot by lot.

Guarantee

We guarantee all animals to be fertile and sound as stated by the American Angus Association. Bulls will be tested upon delivery. This guarantee does not cover injury or death.

It is the buyers responsibility to contact the seller if a problem does occur, in the event of a problem, the buyer must return the animal to Nagorske Brothers Angus and will be refunded.

Health

All cattle have had a complete vaccination program, and will have any necessary health papers or required documentation for shipment.

We certainly idolize this bull in terms of his power and performance. Just a little bit about the history of our program. We started our cow herd 22 years ago. 18 years ago, we did our first embryo transfer project and have been able to use this technology along with artificial insemination to rapidly develop our nucleus cow herd. We have learned a great deal along the way, and it has solidified our mindset as we carefully mate our foundation females.

P3 Angus is defined by three core values: 1. Power 2. Performance 3. Pedigree. The Power comes from how we place visual emphasis on genetics with muscle mass, voluminous ribcage, and core width and dimension. The Performance comes from emphasis on producing progeny in the feeder cattle markets which grow, and do so with efficiency. The Pedigree comes from our emphasis on utilizing maternal cows that have proven themselves and more importantly continued to improve their genetics in subsequent generations.

We have generated females through these technologies and they anchor our cowherd today. Each year when we make our breeding plan, it is our goal to improve the genetics we already have, in fact we expect our youngest cows to start competing with proven aged cows as first and second calf cows. We strongly believe in balancing both phenotypic and genotypic traits. Today there are numerous fads and trend chasing technologies that we feel may have merit someday, but we still evaluate at our cattle in person and on paper.

We know there are many opportunities in any sale season, but please know we will continue to improve genetics to meet quality demands. This happens through stringent selection and aggressive use of an effective ET program. The donors we have behind both the bulls and heifers speak for themselves as seen in the pictures, and offer ways to maximize the traits we believe are important without sacrificing the three Ps.

While our offering is not the size of some, we will always value quality over quantity. The bulls offered will work to make feeder cattle with ideal growth, great maternal characteristics, and some that will push the envelope on carcass parameters. Our heifers are not the bottom of our replacement pen and we feel these females can serve to anchor any program. These are outstanding opportunities here and these females will be hard to part with, especially as we consider the value of females going into the next few years as the national cowherd has hit record lows for inventory.
