z prawdziwą przyjemnością zapraszam Państwa na kolejną edycję festiwalu Literacki Sopot. Przez minionych 11 lat festiwal zapracował na miano jednego z czołowych wydarzeń kulturalnych w naszym mieście, jednocześnie lokując się wśród najważniejszych i najbardziej lubianych festiwali literatury w Polsce. Potwierdzają to liczne przyznane wyróżnienia, znakomici autorzy i autorki, którzy chętnie przyjeżdżają do Sopotu, a przede wszystkim rzesze czytelników i czytelniczek każdego roku odwiedzających wydarzenia festiwalowe.

W tym roku Literacki Sopot przybliży nam kulturę i literaturę Niemiec, dając niejedną okazję do dyskusji i wymiany zdań z pisarzami i pisarkami zza Odry. Jestem przekonany, że udział w debatach, spotkaniach autorskich, projekcjach i targach książki będzie dla Państwa przyjemnością i prawdziwą intelektualną przygodą, a sam festiwal zachętą do poznawania i odkrywania kolejnych obszarów literatury europejskiej. it is with real pleasure that I welcome you to the next edition of the Sopot by the Book festival. Over the past 11 years, the festival has earned its reputation as one of the leading cultural events in our city, at the same time ranking among the most important and best-loved literature festivals in Poland. This is confirmed by the numerous awards it has received, the excellent authors who are happy to come to Sopot and, above all, the crowds of readers who visit festival events every year.

This year, Sopot by the Book will introduce us to the culture and literature of Germany, providing ample opportunity for discussion and exchange with writers from across the Oder. I am convinced that participating in debates, meetings with authors, screenings and book fairs will be a pleasure and a true intellectual adventure for you, and that the festival itself will be an incentive to learn about and discover more of European literature.
