WHO WE ARE
It was 2003 when we took the decision to create a magazine addressed to the LGBTQ community of our county, providing it the ability to be informed for matters of interest to it. At the same time, we wanted to act as a platform of expression for all these people that are every often excluded from mainstream media due to social racism. Our main objective was to break away from the stereotype of being an easy magazine with limited material (and readers) and to create the proper medium of information that every LGBTQ person in Greece deserves.
Today, 14 years later, this objective has been met. Antivirus managed to not only remain ever present during a period of heightened homophobia/ transphobia and financial austerity, but to also
become a point of reference for the part of the Greek society that lives or supports human diversity. Key part of this achievement were the many and important celebrities that spoke to us, delivering a most powerful message of acceptance. At the same time via the various hosted specials and it's constant updates of news and latest information, our magazine plays an integral role in the shaping of the culture of every modern gay lesbian bi trans queer person. In this endeavor of ours we have for several years now supported a variety of small and larger events by acting as their key communication partner.
In a nut shell, the answer to the question of which magazine does the Greek (and not only) LGBTQ community reads, the answer (naturally) is Antivirus!
