“As a survivor of childhood cancer, receiving this fellowship means that I will be able to continue pursuing my dream of giving back as a certified child life specialist someday. Through my master’s program, I will gain the necessary knowledge and experience needed to best serve my future patients. This experience would not be possible for me without the help of generous donors like you.” —Blazie Alex Gilder (Georgia)

“This fellowship means I belong to an organization that sees me, supports me and believes I am worth investing in. It’s a joy to tell friends who aren’t in Gamma Phi Beta that I’m a member of a sorority that continues to invest in members at all phases of life and truly values the contributions we make in service to our sorority and society at large. “ I am so beyond grateful to have been chosen to receive a scholarship from the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation. This scholarship is allowing me to pursue my educational goals and to follow my dreams. Gamma Phi Beta has been an extremely special part of my undergraduate experience, and I would certainly not be who or where I am today without it. I have grown immensely as an individual through the leadership roles that I have held as a collegian, and I have met many lifelong friends (sisters) along the way. Gamma Phi Beta has given me more than I could ever ask for, and I am looking forward to making more memories as a collegiate and way beyond my gradation as an alumna.” —Morgan Nevada Henson (Alma)

“Receiving this scholarship means so much to me because it represents the power of sisterhood. Not only does this scholarship relieve financial stress as I enter my junior year, but it also demonstrates the opportunities for support that come with being part of a sisterhood. With a goal of attending medical school, being able to focus on my courses is crucial, and the financial freedom that comes from scholarships like this one gives me the opportunity to do so. I am so thankful for an opportunity like this one to feel both recognized and supported by the Gamma Phi Beta sisterhood.” —Evada Nikole Palmer (Nebraska-Lincoln)

“This scholarship means hope, it means to keep going. This scholarship provides a significant opportunity to access higher education and achieve my academic goals. I have faced unique challenges in navigating college, paying for tuition, books and other expenses all on my own. This scholarship gives me the opportunity to keep going. It has alleviated a sort of financial burden and helps provide me with the resources necessary to succeed in college. In addition to the financial benefits, it also provides a sense of validation and recognition for the hard work and achievements I have put in. This recognition is particularly meaningful to me, a firstgeneration college student with no previous support trying to make it. Thank you.” —Juana Mancera (Michigan)
