OUR PU R P O S E S S 2 0 17 At Grace & Able , we believe everyone has a voice, a story to share, we are just their stage to sharing it. As a social enterprise, our purpose is to equip, enable and empower the marginalised through opportunity provided by business. Combining a love for design and a flair for fashion, our brand is helping people rise above poverty and carve out futures filled with purpose and hope. We work with our artisans to not only create a beautiful, hand crafted collection of jewellery but to skill them through dignified jobs, fair income and development training.

Far more than just a piece of jewellery, every piece carves paths out of poverty enabling you to not only be the change in the lives of the underprivileged but to wear the change.

L E T T E R FR O M O U R FO U N D E R As a little girl, I grew up in the Philippines watching my parents work and teach with the underprivileged there. Some of my earliest memories involve watching the smiling faces of others when they have been heard and understood. That, and always having a pencil in hand, designing something.

TA S S E L COLLEC TION This is the first time our Ugandan Artisans have made tassels and combined with the traditional craft of bead making. The paper beads are made from recycled paper, hand cut into strips, then rolled up tightly before being varnished and threaded into necklaces.

N K WAG AL A COLLEC TION Another first for our Ugandan artisans, was combining the delicay of gold chain with traditional paper beads for a collection that is sophisticated, stylish and elegant in its simplicity.

BRASS COLLEC TION Hand cast, hand polished, hand shaped, hand hammered - these Kenyan brass beauties reflect the light of hope that flickers bright in our Kenyan Artisans' lives.
