Feast at the table of VICTORY!

(Poem by Min. Carenda Deonne)

Victory has never felt so sweet. It’s a different flavor than just a win, It goes beyond cutting a six-tier cake of success. At its best, it’s an aroma that only the resilient can smell, It has a spice that only those of integrity can digest. Victory goes deeper than the temporal feeling of happiness, It lasts longer than the sound of a butterfly. It’s a Love Jones, A Love Jones that connects heart to purpose, Truth to justice, And pain to rainbows.
