“The collection is a response to the last decade of my grandmother’s life. She had a brain tumor removed, but never fully recovered from her surgery. Mentally she was all there, but physically she was not. I watched her fall apart from this beautiful, strong woman who was so full of life. She remained strong the whole time and that is what I wanted my collection to show: the fall and the strength.�
