CONCEPT The new space will be called Envision since it is a place where people will go to create and learn for a better future. The building is going to be converted into an innovation hub with classrooms and areas for collaboration. Along with the classrooms, there will also be apartments for people who need a place to stay for a semester or two. Since the building is historic it is important to hold onto those elements that make it an iconic location. By keeping those elements and infusing elements of modern design, it will be a welcoming location that inspires by both looking to the past and creating for the future. By using biophilic design, everyone will feel comfortable and want to come to do their work. An open floor plan encourages collaboration between peers. Envision will be a place where people of all ages will want to go to teach, learn, and work towards a better future.
