On June 24 Kim Chi and his family were going to South Korea because that’s were they can do fun things not like in the North. Kim had to stay because of a meeting. On TV they said that there were going to have a war between South Korea and North Korea so he tried to rushed to the airport before the war started but it was to late they already closed the airport because of the war. So he went home and thought of a way he could go across the 38Th parallel. He thought he could go to the 38Th parallel really quietly but there are going to be millions of soldiers there then he thought he would go across the 38Th parallel by water but he did not have a boat and battleships might be around the area. 2 days later he was already building his boat but when he was making the finishing touches a soldier caught him and made him go to war or jail. The first day in war was a bit rough but he met some new friends James,Robert and Paul. He made friends with Robert even though he is from South Korea. They nearly died,the war was horrible when they were in it but they got to the 38Th parallel even though they were injured. They agreed if he helped them they would help him get to his family. When they were moving towards the 38Th parallel they saw many soldiers die. When they got to the 38Th parallel they left the war except for Robert because he wanted to drive a plane. When they got to the South Korea they went separate ways but Kim forgot where his family were staying so he searched the city and found James in an antique shop James asked him some questions and Kim chi drove to his dad’s house because he remembered they stayed at his dads house. 4 days later he had arrived at his dads house. Then he saw his family was dead and he thought it must have been from when the soldiers came into this area of Korea. He knew because they would not know which side they were supporting so they would just kill them.Right then he saw Robert in a plane. He wanted to see if Paul Smith got into the school he wanted to go to. When he saw Paul in a school he thought everyone successfully did what they wanted. Still he wished he was with his family. He headed towards Seoul but it was destroyed,houses broken Kim thought wait how is seoul destroyed in a few days went to the antique shop but it was destroyed he saw some antiques were smashed. He didn’t know what happened but he knew James was dead. Kim got the car and drove to Paul’s school but when he was driving he saw a plane crash. Kim got out of the car and looked at the crash Kim looked closely and saw it was Robert in the plane. Now Kim was paranoid he wanted to leave the country but he knew Paul would die next so he drove 120 MPH to save Paul. This time Kim got there right on time Paul was still alive but then everybody was hiding he saw soldiers walking around. Kim ran to shelter safe from the soldiers. Kim saw someone at the house across from him it was Paul. Kim secretly walked over to Paul, Kim said to Paul that everyone we met in the war is dead and I think your going to die next. Paul was very nervous and paranoid he didn’t want to die but then Paul thought wait what if Kim might die next. 1 year later the war stopped and Paul lived and so did Kim they were relieved that they lived through this event. Then they went on with their normal lives.
