Expect the Unexpected ‘Walter heard, or rather felt a satisfying thump as his bullet stuck home. Fifteen more to go. As he brought his plane up to a ninety degree roll, Something struck his plane.’ He woke up. Then realized he was shaking from his dream. He had wondered why he had this type of dream. The Nazis did take France, but never set foot on the British Soil. Then after breakfast, while he walked to the gym near Hanger hill park, then he met his old friend, Thomas. When he was fifteen minutes into his sit-ups, Thomas suddenly spoke “do you want to be in the air-force?” Walter thought that he had not heard right “do you?”Thomas continued. “Well, yes.” Thomas had told him to wait at the Hanger hill park. When he got there, a little boy told him to follow. He led Walter down a tunnel into a series of complicated rooms, then from there into a office. Walter was surprised. One of the major generals was there, without telling Walter his identity, he said, “meet me right here tomorrow, you will undergo a week of intensive training, seven hours in the air, two hours in the training ground for target practice, and another seven hours in the gym. Then run on the track until you pass out. After that, we will move you into a bed and wake you up at five.” Walter couldn’t believe his ears. A week earlier, he had been looking forward to the training, he thought it might be good and fun, but now, he knew he would suffer. As He was ordered, he went to the park the next morning, and found the tunnel, went through the rooms and found the General, He was told to follow him, the general led him to a huge room inside a electrified perimeter, then he inserted a key into the soft ground, found the lock hole and unlocked the fence. Walter was sure he’d been drugged when he walked into the room. He woke up in the training sector of the room. There, a fit looking general introduced himself as General Jason. He told Walter to lie on a bench and do sit ups. At a hundred and fifty, Walter was panting really so that he thought he was going to faint. The General screamed, “Get back down and do more!” Then he continued, “Don’t stop till you reach a thousand!” Feeling miserable, Walter finally reached a thousand and five. Walter was brought into a hanger with two spitfires. There was five other trainees there. General Jason said, “Your training partner will be Conner.” After that, Jason showed Walter how to operate a airplane, then he let Walter fly on his own. When they were training for accuracy, Jason loaded some paint ammo into the airplane. After air training, they went onto ground target practice, then more time in the gym. Then finally, the fainting tracks. After a week of repeating the same thing, Walter was allowed to really fight in the battlefield. At the same day he was made the squadron leader of ‘theta squadron’, Hitler attacked. He was summoned to Churchill’s office. In the office, Churchill said “Now that Hitler has attacked, I will send in the theta squadron to assault the German’s bombers, so london will not be destroyed. As he went to the dorms, a solider came in, “General Walter, I’ve just received a letter, your brother Phil, and your sister Anne, was killed by the bombing in London.” Feeling angry, Walter was determined to kill the German

He was summoned to Churchill’s office. In the office, Churchill said “Now that Hitler has attacked, I will send in the theta squadron to assault the German’s bombers, so london will not be destroyed. As he went to the dorms, a solider came in, “General Walter, I’ve just received a letter, your brother Phil, and your sister Anne, was killed by the bombing in London.” Feeling angry, Walter was determined to kill the Germans. Walter was in the air right when he received three spitfires and three hurricanes. As he closed in to the Germans bombers, something unexpected happened, there were 20 BF-109’s behind the bombers. They were 6 to 20, ‘no chance’ Walter thought. But still, he was going to kill as many as he can. Walter was in the air right when he received two spitfires and two hurricanes. As he closed in to the Germans bombers, something unexpected happened, there were 20 BF-109’s behind the bombers. They were 6 to 20, ‘no chance’ Walter thought. But still, he was going to kill as many as he can. He fired multiple rounds towards the squadron leader’s plane, but another plane flew in front of the leader, and sacrificed for him. At least one down, thought Walter, after he struck five more down, he was low on ammo, so he fired only two bullets at a time. Then Walter heard, or rather felt a satisfying thump as his bullet stuck home. Fifteen more to go. As he brought his plane up to a ninety degree roll, Something struck his plane. He was back in the same horror, as he was in his dream. He signaled his squadron to go. He, was going to die anyways. As his plane dived towards the ground, he used the flaps of the plane to pull up, although he was still dropping, there was enough time to hold the Germans back so his squadron could escape safely. His plane dropped to two hundred meters. At terminational velocity, even if he hit water, his spine would break. So he sat back and waited to die. At least he archived his goal to kill the Germans. He, was finally happy.
