SUPERGRADHERMETIC ® Components: SUPERGRADHERMETIC is a roller shutter with tubular tilting slats, made with a high performance aluminium alloy, coated with maximum quality paints and thermoset in a continuous process. TILTING Slats can be tilt up to 120º.

In broad daylight, the tilting slats allow to control the entry of sunlight and energy exchange with the outside. When it is cold, the slats tilted to 120º provide maximum solar gain and vision while preserving privacy.

OPENING AND CLOSING The shutter curtain can goes up and down till reaching the full opening or a perfect blackout.

At night, closed shutters provide a valuable contribution to building insulation from outside.

CHARACTERISTICS TILTING SLATS Provide: A perfect control of light and solar gain. More privacy without loss of comfort (glare-free light). A better vision and airflow.

PERFECT SEAL The perfect coupling of the slats when the shutter is fully closed, provides complete darkness. When the shutter curtain is in the upper position the window is clear.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY Supergradhermetic is an environment-friendly product: With proper use savings of 5 to 10% on heating and up to 40% on air conditioning can be achieved. It reduces the window thermal transmittance (U). It fulfils sustainable architecture. SECURITY Supergradhermetic protects from the elements and intrusion thanks to the perfect closing of the curtain slat and its exclusive auto-locking system (optional).

COLOURS RANGE Supergradhermetic can be manufactured in any colour from GRADHERMETIC, RAL or N.C.S. colour charts. On request, other colours can be considered.

SUPERGRADHERMETIC ® TYPES OF SLATS SUPER-CLASSIC Profiled flat slats of 45,5 mm x 14,3 mm, suitable for both outward and inward winding.

SUPER-NOVA INTERIOR Profiled curved slats* of 45,5 mm x 12,5 mm, only for inward winding. Require an smaller rolling zone.

* Also available in extruded aluminium.

* SUPER-NOVA EXTERIOR Profiled curved slats of 45,5 mm x 12,5 mm, only for outward winding. Require an smaller rolling zone.

OPERATION All types of SUPERGRADHERMETIC can be ellectrically operated:

• SGH ISG (with wired switch). • SGH IO motor (with wireless switch).

The SGH ISG motors of a building can be operated individually (with a wall switch or a remote control), in groups or all together, and can be connected to a solar sensor. SGH IO motors use IO-homecontrol®, a highly secure wireless technology included in a wide range of home equipment marketed by major brands specialized in the residential sector.

The IO-homecontrol® components in a home are interconnected and use the same language. A single remote control is enough to operate all of them.

IO-homecontrol® provides comfort, security and energy savings by making the shutters more efficient: all functions (opening, closing and tilting of slats) can be programmed according to the priorities established for each situation.

Some types of shutter application (e.g, buit-in or tunnel box) allow manual operation by means a strap, a wire winder or a crank.

For easier installation the shutter should be placed before the window. If not possible, it is necessary to provide the space for guide rails. Depending on the characteristics of the work and for a better use of available space there is a choice between outward and inward winding.

SUPERGRADHERMETIC ® MONOBLOCK APPLICATION (Supercomplet) Is a complete set formed by the curtain slat motor operated, the extruded aluminium box (90º), two guide rails, two side aluminium bearing plates and a drip rail that act as a pre-frame –provided with thermal bridge- in which the glazier has to integrate and fix the window.

Depending on the characteristics of the work, and for a better use of available space, there is a choice between outward and inward winding. Inward winding: (M) Bearing plate adaptable to windows with a thickness up to 198 mm. Outward winding: (M) Bearing plate adaptable to windows with a thickness up to 78 mm.

For proper installation, Supercomplet has to be fixed on the window pre-frame, the window has to be integrated into the Supercomplet set and, finally, the jointcover will fit in its place.

To avoid damages, the curtain must not be installed until the masonry work is completed and the tunnel box is in place.

There are two available types of roll-up insulating lintel (Tunnel box): 280x300mm and 300x300mm. Supergradhermetic can be adapted to other tunnel box on the market.

For proper installation proceed to anchor the tunnel box. Then fit the side rails, the shaft and the curtain. Finally, install the window. If it is not possible to hang the curtain before the window it is very important to provide the space for guide rails.
