events.programs.trips Volleyball Officials Clinic March 2-5, 6 p.m.

We are currently looking for officials of all skill levels to officiate and keep score for our upcoming unit level volleyball program. The clinic is free for all participants.

Lego Builders Club

March 3 & 19, 3 p.m. Do you like to build with Legos? And are you between the ages of 8 and 100? You are invited to join our group of enthused the Lego Builders here in Hohenfels! Call the Library for more information.

Evening Wine Tasting March 6

Come spend the evening relaxing at the cozy Gut Löweneck Café located on the scenic Naab River. We will enjoy sampling a diverse selection of German and Italian wines that will be paired with artisan breads.

Unit Level Volleyball Coaches Meeting March 6, 5:30 p.m.

Sports & Fitness conduct their coaches meeting for the upcoming Unit Level Volleyball program. Coaches receive the Volleyball Bylaws and the regular season schedule.

Ski/Snowboard Trip to Reit Im Winkl, Germany/Austria March 7

This area is situated right on the Germany/Austria border allowing you to ride in both countries. This area entertains all riders with a great beginner area as well as more advanced terrain.

Teen Tech Week @ the Library March 8-14

The Library is for making- and we have several fun events lined up for Teen Tech Week this year, including a Google Earth Scavenger Hunt. Come in and join us.

Snowshoe Trip to the Bavarian Forest National Park March 8

Join us for an adventurous day of snowshoeing in the Bavarian Forest near the Czech border. You will have the chance to discover first-hand the winter secrets of the National Park.

Indoor Climbing Night in Regensburg March 10 & 24

Wanting to learn to climb or just stay strong for the real rock? Come with ODR down to one of the largest indoor rock climbing gyms in Germany! There will be both an intro class for first timers and a leading class.

Superhero Story Time and Crafts March 13, 4-5 p.m.

Everyone can be a superhero! All Children, ages 3-10, are invited to attend this fun event and enjoy stories, songs and crafts. Dress up is encouraged!

Painting with Friends

March 13, 6:30 - 9 p.m. Paint your heart away! Sign up in advance for $20 or the day of for $25. Cost includes canvas and everything needed for painting, as well as light snacks. Drinks are available for purchase.

Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament March 13, 6:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.

Try your luck in a game of Texas Hold ‘Em and win BIG! Cost is $25 to buy in and $25 re-buys. There is limited seating. Early sign up available at the Zone. Open to ID card holders 18 years and older.


Ski/Snowboard Trip to Scheffau, Austria March 22

Scheffau is Austria’s largest interconnected ski area and is one of the most varied winter sports area in the Alps, with the greatest certainty of snow. Another great resort for riders of all abilities.

Rainbow Loom Club March 24, 3 p.m.

Do you Loom? Do you want to learn? Come out to our monthly at the Library and make some cool bracelets and more. Use our looms and supplies or bring your own. Lots of fun for ages 10 and up!

Spring Crafts

March 25, 2:30-4 p.m. Let’s celebrate sun and warmer weather and bunnies and such! Come get in the spring state of mind at the Library and make a craft to take home. Ages 3-10.

SKIESUnlimited Classes Open Continuously

Enroll your Children in SKIESUnlimited instructional classes, which include: Piano, P.R.I.D.E. Taekwondo, Karate, Tiny Tumblers and Rhythmic Gymnastics. Please contact CYSS Parent Central Services for more information.

Gamers Night

Wednesdays, 5 p.m. Come out to the Community Activity Center and pit your skills against other skilled opponents in a variety of SciFi board and card games. If you’ve been trying to locate a gaming group to share your interests, you’ve found it!

Penny a Pin Bowling Wednesdays, 5 p.m.

Break open your piggy banks and head down to the Bowling Center! You pay a penny for every pin you knock over. Any game over 200 (guys) or 180 (gals) bowls for free.

Story Time at the Library

Bring your little one to the Library and listen to stories read aloud by our wonderful Library staff. What better way to spend your day, than to be in the imagination of a child and a good book. Lapsit - Wednesdays, 11 a.m. Regular - Thursdays, 10 a.m.

German Learning & Conversation Thursday, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Want to learn German or practice what you know already? Come and bring a friend! The more, the merrier, and the better the opportunity to practice what you learn! Contact the Library for more information.

Cosmic Bowling

Saturdays, 3-10:30 p.m. We have the lights out and the black lights on! Enjoy R&B music while getting your bowl on!
