Kids can choose from our display of wrapped books, using just a short description as a guide! Will you be an April Fool or an April Cool? Will you love it or hate it? Take a chance! For ages 6 and up.

Army Brats Photo Contest April 1-24

Say Cheese! Parents of Army Brats (aka military kids) can take thier best shot of their “brats” and show them off! Entries can be picked up at the Hohenfels Library anytime before April 17. Oh yeah... don’t forget to SMILE!

Easter Egg Hunt April 4, 11 a.m.

Grab your Easter baskets and join us at the sportsplatz for an Easter egg hunt (for different age groups), hot cocoa, coffee, snacks and prizes for all ages.

Lego Builders Club April 7 & 16, 3 p.m.

Do you like to build with Legos? And are you between the ages of 8 and 100? You are invited to join our group of enthused the Lego Builders here in Hohenfels! Call the Library for more information.

MOMC Youth Car Maintenance Class April 8, 15 & 22, 5:30-6:15 p.m.

Who doesn’t need to know about cars? We all use them and love them! All Youth, ages 14, are invited to come out and one of our offered car maintenance class and learn a few things about basic car care.

MOMC Pajama Story Time

April 10, Preschool ages from 5-5:30 p.m. & School ages from 5:30-6 p.m. The Sunrise Lodge is celebrating the Month of the Military Child. Come dressed in your favorite PJ’s and listen to exciting stories. A guaranteed good time!

BUNCO

April 10, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. Win big at one of our newest monthly game nights! We’re playing Bunco, a fast paced dice game. $15 per person. Open to ID card holders 18 years and older.

Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament April 10, 6:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.

Try your luck in a game of Texas Hold ‘Em and win BIG! Cost is $25 to buy in and $25 re-buys. There will be limited seating. Early sign up is available at the Zone. Open to ID card holders 18 years and older.

School Age Center Sock Hop April 16, 3-6 p.m.

All School Age Center Children are invited to come to the Zone for a fun time dancing in your socks! Enjoy a light show, music, dancing and fun!

Hero Sandwiches for Our Heroes April 17, 4-6 p.m.

The Children of the School Age Center will prepare a healthy meal for their parent(s) and guardian. Parents are invited to come out to the SAC and play games and eat dinner while enjoying a little time with the family.

Teen Sock Hop

April 17, 4-6 p.m. All Teens are invited to come to the Zone for a fun time dancing in your socks! Enjoy a light show, music, dancing and fun!


Karaoke Night

April 17, 7-11 p.m. Come out to the Zone and let your voice be heard! Choose from our extensive selection of music and perform for others to enjoy!

MOMC High Ropes Course & Zip Line April 25, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Join us for a day in the sky and zip along on a network of high lines over 50 feet. Ages 11-18 are invited travel with us to Grafenwoehr’s Wild B.O.A.R. Outdoor Recreation to use their high ropes course.

Rainbow Loom Club April 28, 3 p.m.

Do you Loom? Do you want to learn? Come out to our monthly Rainbow Loom Club and make some cool bracelets and more. Use our looms and supplies or bring your own. Lots of fun for ages 8 and up!

Eclectic Book Club April 28, 5-6 p.m.

Great reads and even better company! Ages 18+ can join us to read a diverse selection of books and discuss them together! Please contact the Library for this month’s title and to confirm the meeting place.

MOMC Punt, Pass & Kick April 30, 4-6 p.m.

All Youth are invited to come out and practice your football skills, participate in a little friendly competition and most importantly, have some fun!

Gamers Night

Wednesdays, 5 p.m. Come out to the Community Activity Center and pit your skills against other skilled opponents in a variety of SciFi board and card games. If you’ve been trying to locate a gaming group to share your interests, you’ve found it!

Penny a Pin Bowling Wednesdays, 5 p.m.

Break open your piggy banks and head down to the Bowling Center! You pay a penny for every pin you knock over. Any game over 200 (guys) or 180 (gals) bowls for free.

Story Time at the Library

Bring your little one to the Library and listen to stories read aloud by our wonderful Library staff. What better way to spend your day, than to be in the imagination of a child and a good book. Lapsit - Wednesdays, 11 a.m. Regular - Thursdays, 10 a.m.

German Learning & Conversation Thursday, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Want to learn German or practice what you know already? Come and bring a friend! The more, the merrier, and the better the opportunity to practice what you learn! Contact the Library for more information.

Cosmic Bowling

Saturdays, 3-10:30 p.m. We have the lights out and the black lights on! Enjoy R&B music while getting your bowl on!
