ELF ON THE SHELF RETURNS! DECEMBER 1-21
Our Elf-on-the-Shelf Chester had such a fun time at the library last year, he begged to return. We expect him to arrive Thursday, December 1. The only problem is, he loves to hide and we never know where he will be in the library! He has given us some hints though and he is ready to play the game of hide-and-seek as he returns to a new hiding spot in the library every day until December 21. (Psst…he has magical powers and is able to fly back and forth to the North Pole each night). Play the game of Elf-on-the-Shelf BINGO and see how many times you can spot him. Sign up at the library anytime in December. All ages welcome.

HOLIDAY CRAFTING DECEMBER 8, 2:30-5 P.M.
Get into the holiday spirit by making some quick and cool crafts at the library. We will have plenty of materials and ideas on hand to get you going. Make a tree ornament, a decoration for your home or front door or make a card to send to a loved one. Get inspired... by others and share your ideas. Everyone is invited to this fun, informal crafting session. Children grade 5 and under must be accompanied by a caregiver.
BOOK DISCUSSION GROUP JANUARY 24, 7 P.M.
Get ready to meet the local author Oliver Poetzsch in March by reading his first book in the series “The Hangman’s Daughter”. You might be familiar with many of the locations described in this fastpaced thriller about a compassionate hangman and his daughter that vividly depicts the sights, sounds and smells of seventeenth century Bavaria.
PRESCHOOL & TODDLER STORYTIMES This program will break for the holidays in December. Join us again in the New Year at 10:30 a.m. beginning Thursday, January 26, for stories, songs and crafts.
