WILD B.O.A.R. OUTDOOR RECREATION JUNE 4: WALK ON PAINTBALL

WALK ON PAINTBALL June 4, noon Want to play paintball but having trouble getting people together for a group event? Come to a walk-on paintball game! Participants will be broken into two teams and switch between various gameplay styles, from Team Elimination to Capture the Flag. U.S. ID Cardholders ages 16+ and Bonafide Guests 18+ may participate. Only Wild B.O.A.R. markers and paint will be allowed during these events. Paint rounds sold separately. Price: $20/person (Includes paintball marker, mask, field usage and air for the marker), $50 for 2,000 rounds, $15 for 500 rounds

MONDAY EVENING MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDES

June 12 & 26 Mountain bike throughout the many trail options in the Oberpfalz. “Crank out” rolling hills and flat straight-aways, rocks to roots and scenic overviews. The Oberpfalz area is a mountain biker’s heaven. Ride lengths vary in duration. Good biking shape is needed to fully enjoy the experience. Price: $10/person, $15/person including bike rental

FATHER’S DAY FISHING EVENT

June 18, 8 a.m. - noon A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work! Dads are welcome to celebrate Father’s Day fishing alone or with the Family. Equipment not provided. Registration is required. Price: $10/adult, $5/child

EVENING STANDUP PADDLE BOARDING June 27, 6-8:30 p.m. Standup paddle boarding is a great way to score some cool points while working on your balance and paddling. Join Wild B.O.A.R. Outdoor Recreation for a fun evening of instructional paddling. Already have the skills? Come spend the evening paddling beautiful Dickhäuter Lake, mastering skills or practicing yoga. Price: $15/person

FISHING WEEKEND DEAL: $50 (SAVINGS OF $35)

PERFORMING ARTS CENTER June 1 & 2, 7:30 p.m. June 3, 2:30 p.m. The Grafenwoehr Performing Arts Center (GPAC) presents Disney's ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR.! Travel down the rabbit hole and join Alice, one of literature’s most beloved heroines, in her madcap adventures. Featuring updated songs from Disney’s thrilling animated motion picture, Disney’s Alice in Wonderland JR. is a fast-paced take on the classic tale. The evercurious Alice’s journey begins innocently enough as she chases the White Rabbit. Her adventures become increasingly more strange as she races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!

June 9 & 23, 6 p.m. Grab your dauber and test your luck. Play America’s favorite game at the Grafenwoehr Performing Arts Center and you could be a big winner. Early bird bingo starts at 6 p.m. and regular bingo starts at 7 p.m. You have the chance to win, win and win! No one under 18 is allowed in the BINGO hall during play. Doors open at 5 p.m.

June 10, 7:30 p.m. Know how to play an instrument? Have you been blessed by the gods with unbelievable vocals? Want to jam? If so, or just want to relax and listen, join us for an evening of musical fusion. Come out with your instrument and have a wonderful evening jamming. Instruments and sound tracks are available on site.

Fridays Red Pins are added to the racks of pins. If the red pin is the head pin, the customer must notify the counter. If you throw a strike you receive a free game coupon to be used that evening.

COSMIC BOWLING Saturdays We’ll have the lights out and the black lights on! Enjoy the experience of being the DJ, dancing, bowling and relaxing in that night club ambiance every Saturday night!

FAMILY DAY BOWLING Sundays. 2-6 p.m. We offer free bowling for Children when accompanied by a parent. Starting at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. you can rent a lane for $30 and bowl all you want. Call the Bowling Center for more details.

Rose Barracks, June 10, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tower Barracks, June 24, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Spring cleaning season is here and your Libraries are once again hosting a Car Boot Sale. If you enjoy a good flea market or yard sale, this is the event for you! Book a space or come along to pick up a bargain. Registration for sellers is from May 25 - June 9. Spots are limited and assigned on a first come, first served basis. Open only to ID card holders.

FATHER’S DAY CRAFT

Rose Barracks, June 13, 4 - 5:30 p.m. Tower Barracks, June 15, 4 - 5:30 p.m. Moms, want to help your children celebrate Father’s Day? Bring your children ages 3-10 to the library where they can create a special craft and gift to show Dad how much they appreciate him. There is no charge and children will have a Father’s Day gift to take home. Pre-Registration required by June 12. Program is limited to 15 children. 2017 SUMMER READING PROGRAM

Summer Reading Registration starts June 20 and runs through July 10. This year’s theme will be ‘Reading by Design!’ and the program will be on Mondays in Rose Barracks and on Wednesdays in Tower Barracks from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. The program will begin the week of July 10. Registration will be limited to the first 100 children ages 3-15 at each location.

PRE-SCHOOL STORY TIIME

Tower Barracks, Wednesdays, 10-11 a.m. Rose Barracks, Thursdays, 10-11 a.m. Join us for stories, songs, projects and more. The Story Hour programs are designed for children aged 0-4 and their caregivers. The Tower Barracks and Rose Barracks weekly Children's Story Times are taking a break starting June 14 through the 2nd week of September to prepare for our Summer Reading Program.
