Indoor Climbing Night in Regensburg January 6 & 20, 5:30 - 9 p.m.
Wanting to learn to climb or just stay strong for the real rock? Join us at the indoor rock climbing gym in Regensburg, one of the largest in Germany. We’ll have an intro class for first timers and a leading class for those ready to be on the sharp end.
Hunting Course Pre-Program January 9, 5:30 p.m.
Learn what it takes to get your hunting license. The next hunting class is scheduled February 3-April 11. We meet at Bldg. 317 to discuss the upcoming course, expectations of hunters in Germany and the fees associated with the course. Contact Outdoor Recreation for details.
Parent’s Night Out
January 9, 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. sign up by January 2 Do you need an evening without the kids? Drop your children off with our childcare experts and enjoy a nice quiet evening, a romantic date with your spouse or an action filled movie. Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament January 9, 6:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Win BIG at The Zone by trying your luck in a game of Texas Hold ‘Em! Cost is $25 to buy in and $25 re-buys. There is limited seating, early sign up is available.
BUNCO
January 9, 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. Join us at “The Zone” and win big at our new monthly game night! We’re playing Bunco, a fast paced dice game. Please, no Children allowed. $15 per person.
Winter Crafts at the Library January 14, 2:30 - 4 p.m.
Baby, it’s cold outside, but it’s warm and crafty at the Library! Make and take a fun craft to keep or give away. Perfect for ages 3-10.
Dolomite Superski Weekend January 16-19
One of the largest Ski Areas in Europe! We’ll visit the Kronplatz and the Sella Ronda (the heart of the Dolomites) and the Plose Mountain. Includes 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners. Prices: $469 per adult in a single room. $269 per adult in double room, $219 per child (3-12), $139 per child under 3.
Colorama (Jackpot Bowling) January 16, 6 p.m.
Win the Jackpot by bowling a strike during the color pin frames of this fun, Colorama! Jackpots vary depending on the pin patterns. $25 entrance fee.
Furry Friends Sleepover January 22, 4:30 - 5 p.m.
It’s time for your furry plush friends to have some fun with Elmo and Grover at the Library! Bring a favorite furry friend to a special Story Time and leave them here for a sleepover at the Library. Return on Friday morning between 10-10:30 a.m. to pick up your friend and have a treat. Fun, fun and more fun!
Ski/Snowboard at Reit im Winkl January 24, 5:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
This area is situated right on the Germany/Austria border allowing you to ride in both countries. This area will entertain all riders with a great beginner area as well as more advanced terrain. Price: $44 transportation per person, half priced rentals, $25 lessons for beginners. Passport is not required.
Eclectic Book Club
January 27, 5 - 6 p.m. Great reads and even better company! Ages 18+ can join us to read a diverse selection of books and discuss them together! Please contact the library for this month’s title and the meeting place.

Enroll your Children in SKIESUnlimited instructional classes, which include: Piano, P.R.I.D.E. Taekwondo, Karate, Tiny Tumblers and Rhythmic Gymnastics. Please contact Parent Central Services for more information.
Gamers’ Night
Wednesdays, 5 p.m. Come out to the Community Activity Center and pit your skills against other skilled opponents in a variety of SciFi board and card games. If you’ve been trying to locate a gaming group to share your interests, you’ve found it!
Penny a Pin Bowling Wednesdays, 5 p.m.
Break open your piggy banks and head down to the Bowling Center! You pay a penny for every pin you knock over. Any game over 200 (guys) or 180 (gals) bowls for free.

Story Time at the Library

Coming in February ... Super Bowl Party & Poker Tournament February 1, 6 p.m. - 3 a.m.
We’re showing the games live, this is your place to be for America’s favorite sport, FOOTBALL! Did we mention there’s going to be food, drinks and prizes as well? Come on out and get your game on with so fun intense team rivalries! The tailgate party starts at 6 p.m. and the game at midnight. We’re also hosting a pre Super Bowl Poker tournament starting at 6:30 p.m.
