Palacios is a specialty store that provides the best known lines of furniture, lighting, accessories and tabletop. Our mission is to present our products in a creative environment, inspiring our clients to achieve the desired ambiance for their new home. Our unique services transforms properties into a finished designed concept making this process easy and enjoyable for our clients and/or designers.

Will be supervised by the designer in charge of the project and will be handled and delivered by Palacios skilled and experienced personnel. This personnel will assemble and accommodate each piece of furniture according to the designer’s instructions.
An initial consultation with Ileana Palacios and an in-house architect to prepare a customized design to suit the individual interest of the client. We take into consideration style, priorities, budget and timeline. The design presentation includes furniture plan, color palette and furniture selection for discussion. Once furniture has been decided: Palacios Order Department will place orders and our warehouse will receive, check and make sure that everything has arrived in perfect condition for storage. Our warehouse will consolidated all merchandise received for client until it is time for the completion of the project.
Window treatment, lighting and decorative accessories will also be installed by our personnel and directed by the designer. All furniture boxes and waste material will be discarded by our personnel. The project will be completed and delivered in perfect condition for clients to move in. If our clients deadline for completion is less than 6 weeks, we can accommodate our clients needs by supplying a substitute furniture until clients furniture selection arrives for them to enjoy their new property.
Selected “Earnst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2005, Ileana Palacios is a renowned artist & business woman with over 30 years of experience in retail, interior and commercial design. Selected as one of the most succesful business women in PR by The San Juan Star newspaper & De Moda & Caras magazines, she puts her heart and mind into every project. Her passion goes beyond when it comes to her beloved store of 20 years, Palacios. In 1977 she opened her first retail store, Kilims. It carried imported large scale design fabrics from Finland and cotton prints from France. Her love for fabric and design resulted in a small workroom to develop finished fabric products. In 1983 kilims was among the three highest sales volume US stores. Ileana was then invited to France and Finland; on a very prestigious trip, to view and choose the upcoming fabric collections. Three years later, she opened a second store at Dadeland Mall in Miami, FL. A large workroom to manufacture upholstered furniture was also a must. She was quickly known for her “In Movimento” bed; designed by her, with back and armrest movements. 1990-1995 Special clients and commercial accounts such as: Banco Santander in PR & the Bahamas, became her top priority. Her know-how was an asset for new developments where she once again proved her skills using the “turn key” concept. Among them were master plan communities as Río Mar and Palmas del Mar. In 1996 Palacios opened its doors in PR as a furniture, tabletop and bridal registry venue. Within six years it grew four times in floor space and acquired a 9,000 sq. ft. warehouse. Her vision to acquire the best lines of tabletop and furniture from Europe were simply a recipe for success. Apart from selling retail, Palacios provides the clients the option to work with in house designers & architects on their projects. Ileana oversees every project, aiding in the decision making process along with her design team. Frequent trips to exhibitions and related shows maintain her busy the first five months of the year. Bringing new trends in design is what marks the pace of the coming year for the store...always ahead of time! Over the years Ileana has designed and worked on projects off site like: Miami, New York, Orlando, Key West, Colorado, Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic, France and our little island of Culebra.
