How to make sure your man is looking his best when travelling to the biggest fashion capitals of the world.
While men are certainly becoming more fashion conscious these days and caring more about their appearaces, they are still seen being stubborn when comes to actually spending the time finding the right clothes as well as spending spending their money on them. That is why I have decided to put forward a man’s insight and recommendations to all the women out there on how you all can help them with their choices when it comes to a tastefully curated, travel savvy, and longlasting wardrobe. The intention is to put forward garments for you man to add to his wardrobe that will allow him to be culture approopiate while travelling, as well as being able to give the garments a life besides just for the vactions. Additionally, menswear is all about the details. However, it is imperative that your man have the essential staples in the wardbobe first to pair with the other more eccentric garments. Here are my recommendations based on how to dress him when vacationing to the biggest fashion capitols of the world: New York City, London, and Paris.

NEW YORK
The navy suit. This is an essential staple piece of every man’s wardrobe that all men need to invest in. It is essential because of its versatility in regards to color matching of shoes, shirts and ties. With this specific example from suitsupply, he can rock the jacket separately from the pants and the pants seperaretly from the jacket. This way he can wear the full suit for a nice dinner, or just the jacket with jeans for a more casual and comfortable look. So, when in New York, make sure he brings his navy suit.
Suitsupply Traveller Suit, $599 www.suitsupply.com
CENTRAL PARK
While exploring New York City, taking a break from the city streets chaos is recommended by having a picnic in the park. This is where breaking up the navy suit jacket comes into play for a more casual look in the park. Mixing the jacket with khakis, jeans, or chinos is a way to become more comfortble and the jacket still makes him look put together. Have him wear an all white pair of sneakers either with socks, or without (depending on the weather).
Common Projects sneakers $415 www.commonprojects.com

LONDON
Make sure he is prepared for London’s gloominess -- in style! Your man needs to have a jacket that can hold up against bad weather, keep him warm, and protect his garments underneath. There are tons of options out there for this, whether he is needing a warm overcoat or just a light layer, Fred Perry provides a great combination of those two worlds with the portwood coat. Your visit to London wont be ruined on the count of rain!
Fred Perry Portwood Jacket $300 www.fredperry.com
NIGHT OUT
His formal shirting is also a necessity and if he doesn’t already own a wide spread collar shirt he needs to get one. Maybe even two or three. Wide spread collared shirts make for a much more formal aethetic underneath a coat. When worn with a tie, the wide spread collar displays the tie cleanly and elegantly. When worn without a tie and unbuttoned, the wide spread collar still creates a formal look and a clean presentation, So make sure your man has one of these shirts to blend in to the sophisticated gentlemen of london during your nice night out.
Thomas Pink Semi Cutaway Shirt $185 www.thomaspink.com

PARIS Parisian men are all about their accessories. So, make sure your man is equipped with the proper scarf, specifically a lightweight one, for your trip to Paris. It will come in handy while bouncing around from cafe to cafe -- since it both looks good and adds an extra layer of warmth for him after all of those croissants are settling in nicely. Make sure that his scarf doesn’t look forced and instead is effortless and airy -- which is what those parisians are known for with their fashion! T.M. Lewin has a nice few lightweight scarves that will work well as an introduction into the scarves world.
Grey Blue Spot Print Scarf $56 www.tmlewin.com
ROMANTIC DINNER
AS for his shoes: These are another stable of every man’s wardrobe and therefor he should be spending a bit more on them. Parisians love their shoes, so make sure that he brings along his finest pair to sport during a romantic parisian dinner. Pairing a fine pair of leather boots with a properly fitted and tailor trousers creates a tastefully fashionable aesthetic -- all while remaining appropiately formal. There are countless options to choose from when it comes to proper leather boots, but crockett & Jones does it best and your man should certainly be investing in a pair.

With more than 30 million views on YouTube, Beyoncé chose New Orleans as her new music video’s background to mix fashion, pop and the fight against racism. Rocking on her Givenchyucci dress, the Queen Bey gave a bust to the black feminism and opened up the discussion worldwide. But she is not alone in the way. We talked about some girls that are breaking out in the music industry all over the world with powerful statements and reformulating our idea of “women in action”.
M.I.A.’s music has always a worldly, political focus. From the very start, the Sri Lankan provocateur (real name: Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasum) has thoughtfully incorporated deep cultural symbolism and motifs in her music and visual complements. statement song: “Bad Girls”
M.I.A. London
With her petite frame, big eyes and heartshaped little mouth, she is becoming well known for her music as for her videos, which combine trippy visuals and haunting vocals to jaw-dropping effect. statement song: “M3LL155X”

Based in LA, Tinashe is a former girl-group member, skilled dancer, with three mixtapes under her belt, producer credits, and a set of pipes that can go from smoldering temptress to riot grrrl aggression like that. The girl is a powerhouse. statement song: “Player”
Tinashe Los Angeles
A bouncing bass-heavy blend of rap, hiphop, baile funk and Afro-Brazilian beats delivered with bracing positive energy. That’s Karol Conka. With a political bias, her songs talk about the party life on a powerful black woman perspective. statement song: “Tombei”
