Father’s Day June 19, 2016 A father is someone who carries pictures in his wallet where his money used to be. -unknown

In February of this year I celebrated six years of being property manager of the Faith Landing Apartments. I think back of the changes we have made; some worked, some didn’t. I also think of all of the residents who have touched my life; as I hope I have touched their lives for better. My favorite part is watching your families; I have enjoyed residents bringing in their new babies and then watching those babies grow and some are now going to school. Time really does fly by. I am resigning my position as property manager here at Faith Landing and taking a new position with another management company. I want to thank each and every one of you for letting me be part of your life. I know that the management here will continue to run the property in the same professional manner. Sincerely, Megan The ACPM-Multi Family staff invites you to stop by the Clubhouse for a farewell get-together for Megan from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Wednesday, June 8th. We want to assure you that Justin Watson will continue to handle leasing and other management issues, and until we are back at full staff, please don’t hesitate to call Heidi Roberts (208.853.6481) at our Boise office if the need arises. CAUTION! IT’S SUMMERTIME! WITH THE WARMER WEATHER, THERE WILL BE MORE PEOPLE OUT AND ABOUT ON THE PROPERTY. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS OF PEDESTRIANS IN THE STREETS AND DRIVES AROUND OUR PROPERTY. MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT IN THE STREETS And PARKING AREAS IN THE APARTMENT COMMUNITY SHOULD BE 10 MPH.

Change in Hours! The Faith Landing leasing office will be open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm. It will be closed Saturdays and Sundays.

PLEASE NOTE The water spigots on the outside of the buildings are not for resident use. They are for use by the maintenance and landscaping crews only.

THE CURE FOR A STINKY KITCHEN SINK DRAIN Ever smelled something funky in the kitchen but not sure what the source of the odor is? Well it could be your sink drain. Debris and grease can lodge in there, leading to a stinky drain. The following is a cure: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

Start with a clean, empty sink. Boil about 2 quarts of water. Once boiled, flush the drain by pouring the hot water down the drain all at once. (Please be careful. Do not dump the hot water in a way that it will splash and burn you.) This will melt and soften any grease that’s trapped. Add 1 cup of baking soda to the drain. Then pour 3 cups of white vinegar down the drain over the baking soda. Let sit 5-10 minutes. While that’s sitting, boil another 2 quarts of water. Flush with the boiling water (again, be careful!). Rinse any leftover baking soda down with the hot water. To finish, flush with cold water from the sink for 1-2 minutes. You should smell the difference right away!
